So uh, I just spent time ACTUALLY studying this because I loved the coloring techniques so um, enjoy :) Program: Paint Tool SAI 0:00 - sketching 0:51 - linework 3:07 - coloring begins 3:22 - base color for skin *shading/blush is on a multiply layer with a pink color being used 3:45 - base color for hair 3:57 - base color for clothes *merged coloring layers for skin before hand 4:53 - make linework layer a shade effect, color with a pink color, and change color on details 5:04 - multiply layer for shading, pinkish-peachy color 5:31 - icy light blue for blue undertones on said shading 5:37 - create a multiply layer (the icy blue used before) and an overlay layer (a yellow-orange beige color), erase areas on multiply layer to get highlights 5:54 - create a different overlay layer and use a bright, light orange color 6:07 - select (magic wand) highlights areas, invert selection, create a new multiply layer and fill that area with a light blue 6:12 - extra details/using a pale yellow to refine the shadow on the previously mentioned layer/ finishing touches (color adjustments, line refinement etc) Edit: some messed up time stamps, sorry if I didn't get them all at the exact timings Edit 2: my god y'all are so nice, I'm glad this helped you guys!
