I think he said in a previous video that the dealership is taking almost $40k off this vehicle because it's broken in already. It has something like 1,500 hundred miles. Check out his previous SL63 video for more details
My next door neighbor owns a Benz dealership, and he had a SL63 he configured with a $228k sticker. He drove it for only a few weeks until it was sold.
I am of the opinion of others, great car but, not worth $200k+. To near Porsche 992 911 Turbo money. This is coming from a Porsche 992 911 C4S owner. Porsche 922 911 is best handling, best built car I have ever driven, owned. At $168k (very high spec car) worth every penny compared to competition I considered, drove. My best 0-60 yet btw has been 2.79... with average being 2.99-3.0 dead every single time.
i've seen your channel for years. It's sad to see your videos views have been getting lower and lower. I see one of the main reasons is not too "down to the earth" for most of us. What i really mean by that is I can't really relate myself to those super cars, $200k, 300k, cost arms and legs. Those are nearly untouchable for most of us. I would rather to see you review, and test drive those more common cars, trucks, even minivans. Anyway, I know you love those pricey luxurious vehicles. This is just my opinion
There are sooo many car reviewers on youtube, its hard to stand out. He seemed to get most of his views when he was doing his own modifications to his cars or trying experiments like running out of gas and going into reverse at high way speeds. I dont know what will work, but it's super competitive to be a car reviewer.
I think it's hard to repeat or continue the early on success when he did the modification on his F150 and also those experiments as well. There are only 'that much' mods to do, plus parts, labors, but not even sure now if he would earn those money back from making the videos, or break even. So it's a risky investment...his F150 was a very common truck for most of people, so people loved seeing those modifications. But then he did modifications to his super car, got new rims, new tires, even lowered the vehicle. Guess those were not cheap. I was not really interested in those at all personally. So I think his business model needs to be changed. I can see him doing that now, but still struggling to get the views. His car review skills look very great, but seems like he only likes to do super cars, luxurious cars, I mean those 200k, 300k plus vehicles. I think he will really do well if he wanted to do other vehicles, those more 'affordable', even older generations that most of his viewers might own. Those are just my opinions
Forogt to mention the Tesla Plaid will also break or burndown and will be useless after about 80k-100k miles on it while not be worth the cost to fix up after that. But yea, go ahead with a Tesla that is overpriced and has worse build quality than my 392 Dodge Charger.

Nice to see you posting with a fun car.
It’s been 7 months Mike. Please - we need to know what happens if you clog the muffler of a 2008 Subaru Outback with a golden potato
Looks good, sounds good but $200k is crazy. No thanks (in my humble opinion).
Ive got a feeling they wont be flying out if the showrooms.
You could buy an wrc fiesta for that
I’m not a Benz Fan

For the same price the Turbo 911 does seem like a better deal. 0-60 in 2.6 vs 3.4 in the SL63 AMG. Both are nice cars though
Faster yes, but do you need a car too be faster than 3,4? I love the Porsche, but the sound of this is really nice.
@@johan21678 Do you need a car to be 3.4 fast as well? No but its what some people want.
You can't get a 911 Turbo brand new for $200k
@@alexl6433 yes you can. You just not getting the Turbo S for that price
@ItsPinecone_911 go ahead send me the link of a brand new Turbo for $200k
the interior looks nicer than the outside
I thoroughly enjoy the POV reviews. Gives a great perspective inside
Autovlog Great POV Drive Video I think that did this video so people can see what it's like to drive an AMG SL63 and I think it looks awesome
It’s like a vehicle virgins video. First the review. Next upload is the POV.
Great video!
Love the V8, sounds so good 👍
Hey bro when are you getting more of those AMG decals?
Seems a bit reckless. You might want to blur out the speedometer parts.
What happened to the Danger Ranger? It's been 7 months since last video. Bring the Danger Ranger back
You should do some Audi RS cars👀
Hey Mike. Do a reset and buy back W205 C63s and build your channel on that again.
Hard pass for the poor folk! Us low quality individuals!

It sucks that it is no longer in manual car
The wheel and gauge looks good but the tablet center console is just soulless garbage to me, plus I don't want touchscreen HVAC.
What a great car!

200 thousand is two rent houses paying about 2500 per month forever. That car will be junk in seven years and worth about 12000.
