    Ronnie Chan - "First of all there is no two sides, fact is a fact, let's face the fact. If you are afraid to face it, too bad!"
    Pretty much they got slapped by Ronnie in the later.

      Lol that slap is so hard, i was giggling when i heart he said it. What he said is true though. We shouldn’t see riots on the street like last year again and peace will be brought to HK.

    Right on Mr Chan. There ‘s No 2 sides. Also, there was never a 2 million protest... pls do your homework Bloomberg! According to Reuters , only less than 250,000 !

    Great interview. Hong Kong was under urban terrorism last year. This is a fact. Face it. And there were never two million marchings in the streets. The max number in the biggest rally on 17 June 2019 was no more than 600,000. This is the second fact. Face it. This can be verified and was verified, scientifically basing on the space of the streets where marches took place and the time those people marched from end to end, same as you can measure the volume of water flowing through a given duct by measuring how long it flows. People in the West have been dupped by media that cheat or do not bother to verify the facts. I am not a businessman but I support what Chan said. The HK National Security Law is a must. To hell with the white men's sanction.

      But China 100% created the situation that made people protest, by eroding peoples rights and making false promises to the people of Hong Kong over multiple years. This was never just about a security law but about the erosion of trust in the Chinese government. Of course any place needs security but that doesn't take away why people protest in the first place, and why people rightfully doesn't trust that China will not misuse such laws. China bullied a small population into submission and then when people protest they point the fingers, not at the cause but at the effect. The biggest crime here is not some crazy protesters but the betrayal of a whole population.

      @@martin-cheers it not the peaceful protest the hong kong people object to. The people of HK been protesting for years. It the continuous destructive riot. Trying to to bring down the government. If this happen in any other country dead bodies be on the streets . Quoting trump's. When riot start shooting start.

    • @martin-cheers
      @martin-cheers 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keung Pang No, dead bodies is not a common thing in other countries even when protests are violent or they want another government. Violent protests are bad, I agree with that. But it’s not an argument against the protests as a whole and it does not take away that the people there have legitimate reasons to protest.

    • @martin-cheers
      @martin-cheers 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keung Pang Trump is a fool, but just to be clear, he is not nearly as powerful in the US as Xi is in China. Trump have no say in how the police acts against protests, that’s under the jurisdiction of the individual states. He can send federal police but only to protect federal state property.

    • @TheBooban

      But don’t understand this at all. US and UK have laws. Some are terrorist laws. Doesn’t mean they are the same as China laws. HK also have laws. He brought up someone was burned alive on the street? He means HK doesn’t have a law against this and need China security law? He says its the protesters that want this law? What does this guy mean?

    To be honest, 1️⃣. the anger of young people in Hong Kong developed from low societal status (which brought by money 💰) especially in a world class financial hub where everything is measured by money. 2️⃣ the distribution of wealth is extremely polarized in Hong Kong, those richs with capital keeps filling their pockets with more capital, and the hardworking middle class just work their ass off trying to buy a small condo built by those rich people and corporation with capitals while the low income groups feed themselves with labor works - and most of remaining labor works in HK rely on tourism. And who sends out most of the tourists to HK? Mainland China. 3️⃣ Education - this one is important because it is the key to employment! I have a few friends who I met in university, they all grew up in elite families who could afford to send them to private school in HK and overseas for university, and they could get better jobs through connections once they returned to hk. It’s similar to the states, kids in Ivy League and community colleges have very different paths. 4️⃣ Hong Kong had its climax before mainland China reopened to the world. When Deng introduced the the reform and opening-up policy, China began developing special economic zones such as Shenzhen, and these zones are in fact rivals to Hong Kong. China became less dependent on hk for international and financial tradings ever since. 5️⃣ young ppl see no hope but working as a 社畜 just like the Japanese, but what do they want to hear? They don’t want you to tell them to keep their feet on the ground and work hard towards one of the highest property price in the world. So when you throw them a rope (an excuse) as a way to escape from the reality, they grasp! In this case, that excuse is pretty much the rotting government and CCP. “We see no future, our freedom and liberty are being taken away blahblahblahblah” sadly I see no realistic ambition, diligence, motivation, vision, nor self reflection in those 廢青 aka wasted youths. Hong Kong’s future is doomed

      Quriosity Hong Kong is part of China, it’s not owned by China. There is a difference and there is limits to how it’s legitimate to act towards a population. In many countries citizens are granted basic constitutional rights in how the government are allowed to engage with them, but in China people have very limited rights when dealing with the government. In the case of Hong Kong they were promised a set of rights that were supposed to be expanded but have been steadily eroded instead. This is an example of government exactly acting as it’s their ownership where as a legitimate form of government should be that the government is a servant of the people not the other way around.
