Great video, great footage and data - i did think the icon in the top right was your handlebars ;-) but realised it was the wind and where you were on the lap.
i know this is old but man this is a what not to do in a technical crit video. my favorite part is there beginning when youre talking about guys just drilling it on the front for no reason and yet you were in the wind doing so much extra work for no reason
Love this! Thought i recognised u from ur youtube after the race. I noticed a gopro on the back of someones bike and now realised it was u😂 Funny to watch and relive a whole race. Great racing👏🏼
Great vid. I’d keep them full length as it’s really interesting seeing the whole race from one riders perspective. Also, to be honest, if you were off the front for the whole race it would be a bit dull so being where you and Dean were makes for more interesting content. If you’re off the front and win, by all means just do a 2 minute highlight vid 😉
Hey Dan, Love following the video’s. How does Lichfield’s course compare to Mallory?, thinking of signing up. I think I chatted to Dean at Mallory a few months ago, I seem to have the same cornering nerves as him so wondered how technical Lichfield was.
Thanks Alex! Lichfield is more technical than Mallory but it’s good surface and lots of grass run off, the chicane is probably the most challenging part on the course but you’ll have plenty of time to ride it on the warm up and by the time you’ve done a couple of laps you’ll be well into the swing of it. If you’re cautious just sit towards the back, just removes the pressure of having people all around you doesn’t it. I worry when I’m next to Dean because of the size of his arms 😂. Hopefully see you at Lichfield then 👍👍
