- I GOT SO MANY REQUEST to make this video every since i got my coaster! To everyone wondering how to grease it, here it is the most simplified version! The hub i greased was a Shadow Raptor Freecoaster hub, with KHE internals, its a basic coaster hub and i hope you guys enjoyed this video a lot! arent you supposed to use a rubber mallet? from what i understand a steel hammer could break the interior of the hub. (sorry for bad english)

I'm 2 years late, but yes, you are susposed to use a rubber mallet, or else you can damage your hub.

What's the point of regreasing every month. It's not like the grease disappears from the inside of hub
+Max Cardenas yeah but the insides get dirty say dust dirt or sand.sticks to the greese and maes it gunk up causing it not to be as smooth

coasters aren't as fragile as people make them look like. when you get it just ride it as it is don't worry about what to expect I have the same hub a year now never did anything to it yet and it's fine. plus they sell all the spare parts for this hub on dans

isnt that problem when on the driver side is bearing like "outside" so i can see it and also it can get dirty inside and i will have to buy new bearing?

You can buy a container of it at any hardware store and auto parts store. I myself am into dirtbikes as well so I use my Maxima Water proof grease. It works great and doesn’t wash away and it has a rust and and oxidation chemical in it that does wonders. I use it for everything now.

i have that hub to ive let a couple people ride my bike and they like it too its smooth and strong

No, WD40 is a penetrating oil and it de-greases. WD40 and bike shouldn't go in the same sentence.
