17 years later, I am a Zelda fan for as long as I live. this is the only song that ha ever been able to bring me out of a funk and replace it with a smile on my face. I have this tune engraved in my heart lol
I love how at around 2:14, the track just explodes into this breathtaking, joyful melody with the birds singing and the music playing at full volume...it makes me imagine being in a forest somewhere, seeing the woods come alive with wildlife all around you, and just reveling in the joy of life. It's perfectly done.

I feel so complete when I listen to lost woods, or lost woods remi'x's. I love them and I wanna cry happy tears because it reminds me of my nintendo 64 and my dad playing it with me when I was younger... In fact im crying right now. So much memories :)

@D0M0N I agree. I didn't consider OOT to be cartoony, but I don't like the DS games in the style of Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. They feel like doodles tossed out to fill the gaps between the real games. I know that the developers did put a lot of effort and thought into those games too though, and in some cases they were quite fun. A worthy art style might have made them just as epic as the core series. But then, maybe we're just spoiled by the superb quality we know they CAN produce.
they probably liked it cause they got the same kind of feeling she/he had while listening to it , not because they are somehow curious about fiding her mysterious passion. so in fact they did it for themselve, not for him/her =x
