Hello Aiden! Excellent and highly informative video, as always. What if my main reason to want to form an LLC is to set clear limits for myself? Second time around trying to make Amazon and online reselling work for me. The first time around I was using my bank account to "manage" the business income and expenses. I don't need to tell you how that went, do I? This time, I already have an EIN (Sole Proprietor), and I'm wondering if I could just use that to open a bank account and separate the business income and expenses without forming an LLC right now. Would it be too problematic to turn that Sole Proprietorship into an LLC once the business starts making a significant income? I understand that any reply to this comment from you does not constitute legal or financial advice. Keep up the excellent work!

So you can just sell stuff without having any title or ending to your company name? When you’re selling, at what point do you form a title for your company? Or how much do you have to make before filing?

Thank you for the video. If I am sued but no real assets on the line, what kind of penalties would I face still? Would it be a debt kind of situation for the amount they sue me? for example, would I have a million dollar debt per the lawsuit?

    Hello.
I've been following you for a while. Love your channel.
I've seen a few videos of yours somewhat along the lines of what I'm looking for or maybe you totally explained it and it went right over my head. I'm on SSDI due to a motorcycle accident which left me in a wheelchair. My daughters want to start an online t shirt business on ETSY and other platforms. My question is how could I help fund it being a silent partner? Would it be an LLC, S Corp or C Corp and would that be considered passive income for me, without losing my SSDI benefits?

am I going to face more tax challenges or more paperwork if I hire an independent contractor from a different state? I live in LA and I want to hire someone from Tenessee and New York to do some voice-over work for a small ebook I'm doing. Or can I just give them the same 1099 that I would if they were in California with me.

Love your channel! I've been wanting to increase my income passively selling on Amazon but I do have personal assets I'd like protected. Would getting general liability insurance protect me as a sole proprietor? That would be the easier route for my situation than forming an LLC, it seems. Thanks so much!
