I didn't see anyone else with this comment so... I thought I should. Instead of brushing your hair out, which can cause frizz and possibly ruin the curls, you could use a wide-toothed comb or just your fingers! It is worth investing in - whether you use heated curls or heatless! I love how your hair looks on a regular day, this tip just saves me so much hassle!
I was looking for a comment like this because she basically undid all that effort by using a general brush. I was thinking why isn't there more commenting this. 😅
Yes! Thank you for this honest comment, I was like "Hope nooooo" as she was brushing out her curls🥲lol I too have wavy/curly/ frizzy hair & a wide tooth comb has helped SO MUCH to keep alil body & volume in my chaotic waves.

You don’t have to brush your hairs after curling!! Just run your fingers through them. The results would’ve been 100 times better if you did that.

The automatic curling iron in the end didn’t work because your hair wasn’t in it long enough. The bipping sound means it’s still heating the hair. It actually works pretty well for me, you just have to get a hang of it😄
She was also feeding the hair in wrong
I was just about to say this. I had the bablise one (don't think I spelled that right) and it's great for longer hair. That small one would be perfect for my hair now
I had a similar thing and it worked fine. I heard the beep and realized Hope wasn't keeping it long enough for it to curl haha. She also started being all disgusted about it before properly trying it.
You also have to wait for it to heat up👍
@@chloemcnair-burns I was gonna say I hope she let it heat up lol I have one and my hair is significantly shorter but I love it and used it on my moms long hair and the curls stayed for days which is NOT normal for her hair which never takes curls so definitely worth it just have to let it heat up and be sure u load hair in proper and leave it in for the time til it double/triple beeps idr

For the wireless curler, you're supposed to let go of that big button that twists the hair once all the hair is inside it then wait for the beeping to stop then you can pull your hair out. Also, the smaller the strand of hair the better it works.
And you should start with the hair closest to your head instead of the middle of the strand.

For most of those handheld curlers you have to keep your hair in the curler until it stops beeping. I’m guessing that’s why it didn’t work for you, Hope. Also, love your videos!
She also had to hold it closer to her roots for the last one. That little handheld one is like the conair one that suck your hair and your hair disappeared but a little less terrifying lol
and also start at the top of your head, so the hair can actually twist in lol

@@HangWithHopescope was your hair wet and it was possibly steam? Or if it continued to do it I know there are knock off ones possibly. . . I generally point the opening away from me and then lay the top of the dry hair section(smaller sections work best) at an angle across/through the opening. Then you have to let it wind up and then wait until it double beeps before releasing it. Occasionally if a section is too thick I have to do it twice to get the curl I like
Honestly the magic curls looked really messy and the octopus curls were neat and cuter so OCTOPUS WINS 🎉

Heyy Hope, for the octopus thing you should wrap the hair around the fabric. I see a lot of people do this wrong, but you're not supposed to twist your hair with the fabric or twist the fabric around the hair. Hope this helps!

For the first heatless curls it will hurt SO much less if you brush out your hair really well before and take smaller sections. For the octopus heatless curls you should try to only wrap the hair around the curlers instead of wrapping both around each other. It will not untwist. I say both of these from experience and mean no hate at all.😊
The different colors also curl different ways so one side orange and one side pink

I use the magic heatless curlers (and use smaller strands), leave them overnight and look so good. Also instead of the "octopus" thing, I recommend a rope (from a bathrobe) and also leave it overnight, the results are much better than with heat :D

I have the last little automatic curler machine and it works! You have to let it heat up, then get your hair in and keep it in until it stops beeping. You can change the temperature, direction it feeds, and time it holds. Great little gadget but the battery dies fast! Good for hard to reach places or maybe touch ups on the go😀

I think you have to wait with your last wireless curling iron until it stops beeping. So leave the curl in until it has stopped beeping. I think that would help to get more beautiful curls, I really like your natural and authentic way 🤩

For the white curler you have to put it on the top of your hair and hold it until it has beeped 12 times. I have one of those and it works like a charm

The wireless curling iron is actually a 10/10. You were just kinda using it wrong 😅 I have one and it works perfectly every time. You let a strip of hair just lay flat against the slit, then push the button

hey hope! my sister owns one of those handheld curlers and i do her hair with it alot, youre supposed to hold it as close to youre roots as possible and wait for the beeping to stop and then you get some pretty neat curls, however they will fall out within a couple minutes so you definitely need hairspray!
edit: also just thought i would suggest maybe using a slightly smaller amount of hair otherwise it will tangle and get caught!

9:48 for the handheld hair curler when it beeps is how long you hold it in for so when you put the hair in it starts beeping and when the beeps are over you take the hair out and you start at the right top of your hair ❤

These were so funny 👍🏼😂. I totally remember seeing similar random hair gadget things on TV as a kid but never thought they would work. It was very entertaining to see you test them out. I was worried for you with the hair braider since I was worried your hair might turn into a knot and get stuck in the little machine. It kinda did but luckily you got it out 😆. The last curler you used, I love. I have short hair and it works amazing. I've never had mine smoke though but I don't have extensions either.

I have one of those curlers it will not rip your head off it works OK it has a timer when it beeps that means it’s done curl wrapping it but you have to wait until it beeps again
For the plating gun even tho it takes time to set it up it would be good for the people who can’t braid❤❤

I have something similar to the hair braide thing from my childhood but it had two hands instead of three so it twisted ❤ I loved it memories
I remember Conair had a similar braid maker but it was two strands twisted on themselves. It was a lot faster to load. If you find it, I'd love to see it!!

Loe this! That octopus hair curler is so cute I never bought the two strand ones for the same reason. Also, if you need another idea you should try all the random body hair removal devices all over tik tok!!
The automatic curler is definitely user error. Or the wrong brand. My sister has one she uses on my niece all the time and it works amazingly. Great to use in the morning before school if she wants to do quick curls on an angry and tired preteen.

I have the same cordless curler and it works amazing. You need to have a piece of hair then take the top of it then push the button till it beeps then wait till it stops the. Let it go and gently move downwards till your hair is out of it.

I have those curls that you used for the first product it’s easier if you only use the top part of the hook so it doesn’t keep breaking also you have to sleep in them which can be uncomfortable but it’s worth it sometimes

i have an exact same curler that shows at the end if you read the instructions carefully it says that you have to keep the hair piece in until it beeps two times kinda i think that it’s in total 15seconds per curl

the last product i was a little bit desappointed bc you were doing it wrong. heres how to use it. put a little strand of hair in it and if you hear the beebing sound stop holding start/play and wait until the beebing sound stops and you can remove youre hair from it. hope it helps :)

For the last one the hair needs to be at most two centre metres thick and then you need to hold it until it beeps them you let go and wait until it does a double beep and them pull it out

Ok so i have the hand held curling iron and it is AMZING but yes at first getting your hair Stuck is scary but the way u untangle is on the screen somewhere on it's either on one of the top or bottom corners it will say R, L or MIX and if u have it on r press the button that says mode on it and press it till the R,L or mix is blinking and then if it says r then click the button that says setting and click till it says L and there your hair will come out.😊

Hope, next time you use the heat-less curls you don’t need to brush them out because it make it more frizzy unless you spritz it a bit to get out tangles I would just recommend a hair pick to make it fluffier, and then some hair spray!
I think you could make the water slime with jelly that's too much water to set properly but not too much that's it's like liquid and some blue food colouring x

Am I the only one who remembers the braider being around since the early 2000's? I had one similar except back then instead of running the hair down through tubes, you had these metal hook pieces you'd push up and loop a hair through and then it would close down and sometimes it would get stuck 😂
