It is 2024, and watching this again. I think honestly in my opinion, to this day, this is probably one of, if not, the best dance practice ive ever seen. Back then, when i was still dancing, ive always wanted to learn this dance, but its so energetic, so many moving parts and stuff. My body knows the dance, i can move my body to the dance when im listening to the song, but to actually dance to it....
The fact that his dancers can take little breaks here and there while dancing but Junsu has to dance none stop and sing is just mind blowing. It's not an easy song to dance and sing to but he does it all by himself. Junsu you are amazing!!!!
+Teemeah Junsu rarely lip syncs. You might be confusing the playback as lip syncing but I can assure you that he sings this song live as it is the tittle song. All 5 members have the specialty to confuse people into thinking that they are not singling live when they are lol they are that talented
+mymelody, yes junsu sings all of his ballads live. he does not however sing the songs with dance routines live. sometimes sings over his own recorded voice and you can hear the difference quite plainly. he sounds breathy and raw (not a bad thing) over a totally polished track. if he was singing and dancing at the same time you would hear fluctuations caused by his movement. this isn't a matter of talent, it's a matter of physics. you can also tell because (other than his occasional singing of a few lines here and there or adding a "Yea!") the singing for choreographed songs is EXACTLY the same as you hear on the album. there is no fluctuation in intonation or note length. setting aside the fact that this is physically so difficult to do standing perfectly still that it's only possible in the sense that it hasn't been proven impossible, it's also not how Junsu sings live. when he does sing over the lip sync track he adds flourishes. when he's singing his ballads he holds notes longer/ shorter and even changes intonation and emphasis. junsu is both an incredible talented singer and dancer and he does both really spectacularly live, just not at the same time.
Actually , technically there is no Kpop idols that sing while dancing , it's a "myth" that was created with TVXQ when they were 5 but , even-though I've always liked them, I could see that most of the songs's part were being lipsyned , the thing is just, the dance comes with some "rest" parts where the singer that holds the line stops for few seconds to sing it and switches after to dancing when he no longer needs a flawless vocal ability to sing the line. So , it's like a trick to make people think they sing while dancing. As for Junsu he's known to be the member who mostly sings live even when the dancing is hard because he's always given the longest parts when it comes to POP/Dance songs, he can't hold it back and his voice comes out naturally when he dances, I can direct you to many videos where the band was clearly lipsyned but only Junsu seems to sing over the record and it still sounds flawless because he trained himself to control his breath while doing the movements, his passion for sports also helped and his exessive vocal training . This guy has a special passion for performing his songs and he gives in every cell of his body .
Junsu, YOU are the one who is "Incredible." And so so smart to surround yourself with such pro dancers. It's exciting, a pleasure to watch you all in action. xxoo
What makes me love Junsu so much instead of a million other artists out there ? Of course his amazing talents but furthermore he has amazing charisma. Junsu truly defines the word. He has this X-factor that nobody can define. For me he is not the most beautiful guy, many artists outshine him in looks but he has just something over him that makes you love him.
Once in my life I want to see junsu's performance live. He's so goddamned underrated that it sometimes makes me angry because more people should know about him and like him. I love you Xiah Junsu
I still get awestruck whenever I watch this. Actually just any time I see Junsu performing in either singing or dancing, and especially when he's doing both. It's so incredibly rare to find someone of his vocal ability but for that person to have these kinds of dancing skills too...WOW! This is just one of the many reasons I'm so proud to have him as my number 1
junsu is ridiculously talented. all his dancers are amazing and he still manages to kill it. i love the part towards the end where he starts adlibbing and you can see that the dancers are so happy to be dancing WITH him, and not just behind him. wow, he's seriously fantastic.
