This is great information, me being a Marine Navigator, i sailed the Caribbean Sea but i was never blessed to experience passing through the Panama Canal . This Canal has saved ships from taking a long voyage down to the bottom of South America to cross from the Pacific to the Atlantic and vice versa
My uncle Oscar worked on this historical place. He left JA as a young man to be part of the team. I have never been there, but it’s on my bucket list. Thank you for sharing.

Great tour of the Pacific side of the Canal. Shipsctransit from North to South not as many believe that they go fro aeast to West. Be sure to visit the Afro Antillano Museum in Panama City where there's extensive artifacts and historical references to your ancestors' contributions to the building of the Canal. You just might recognize the last names of many Jamaicans.

Passed through the Panama canal twice working on Royal Caribbean Cruise line, it was such an amazing time. When we get to LA it was even more amazing.
