I was playing a Prussia game a couple days ago where whenever I made a diplomatic play France, Austria and Russia would all join against me while my only ally, the UK would consistently immediately break our alliance and go to neutral in each of these cases so I'd have to deathwar France, Austria and Russia repeatedly (I still won tho every time)
There is a diplo play to insta annex all of the german minors. Was there something preventing this or was it just missed? I think you have to go to the culture tab, then formables, then click Germany and start the unification play. Rewatching and at 3:38 you were at the right page, you just needed to do the leadership play (launching the brothers war) and then the unification right after.
I didn't know the mechanic when I started, and it wasn't where I expected it to be (decisions). I asked probably a dozen times during the stream if anyone knew where it was and no one did and/or responded. It wasn't until Grise showed up that someone finally told me where to find it. But by that point I'd committed to an alternative plan and decided to hold off on unification until everything else was finished. and so, it was never finished.
The fact that rebelling provinces can have rebellions and then they get out of a war with you is one of the worst most dogshit mechanics in the game i absolutely hate when it happens
@@Gakumerasara i had a game as russia where i annexed most of Eastern prussia over about 15 years and spending over 150 infamy and then the germans rebelled and as the stupid diplomatic play was going they got a rebellion and i lost about 65 infamy worth of provenances due to no fault of my own, but maybe im being a bit hyperbolic, the late game late is 15X worse.

My god I believe this recent patch made this so bad it needs to be reverted
this is too funny

I might hold off playing for a while until they fix it. Especially in ironman, it just feels like RNG wrecking your campaign.

This game almost seems like it was made maliciously.
