Andi Deris is an awesome singer!! I used to not like the guy, because I was expecting another Kiske....But once you understand Andi´s thing is harsh, agressive vocals, you can see that he´s brilliant at it.
Andi is my favorite singer while Kiske is one of the best singers. Andi is my favorite because he didn’t try to replicate Michi. He took Helloween and made it his own. Or he made his own place into Helloween
Saw Helloween on this tour Oct. 8, 2003 at The Vic in Chicago. Packed house, and a fantastic set! The night was electric too because the Cubs were playing in the NLCS a few blocks down the street. After the show, friends and I hung out with Markus and Sascha; very cool guys. I remember Sascha talking about something called a "pumice gamel" (forgive; I spelled that phonetically). He said it was a fork for eating French fries. We all may have walked into a contact before that conversation, though. 🤘🤓

I don't understand why they always play like 2 or 3 songs from their new albums in the tours to promote that albums. They always play the same songs, yes that are classics, but at least play 1/3 of the new album. Rabbit Don't Come Easy in particular has very good songs like Just a Little Sign, Liar, Hell was Made in Heaven or Listen to the Flies.
To be honest with you, I grew up with Andi's era (Forever and one was the first Helloween song I heard, while Master of The Rings is the first album I listened in entirely), so I could say Andi Deris era is my Helloween

Excluding Pumpkins United Tour, Rabbit Don´t Come Easy tour had their best set list by far.
