Believe it or not, those "rawr" child sounds are actually in the base SFX folder of Rebirth. I'm pretty sure they're the raw, unedited versions of the sounds the Gurlgings make whenever they charge. So it was more like Edmund McMillen back in 2014 asked their kid / nephew / young cousin if they wanted to make "rawr" sounds into a microphone for a few minutes and he got an enthusiastic "yes."

For me it sounded a lot like siren or the one that is used by big industrial ships rather than horn. Great detail that matches theme of dying = moving to post apocalyptic state Earth

I always love when bosses use smaller bosses as their attacks, it gives a stronger feeling of progression (which is why Beast is kinda a letdown in my eyes, but not about it now). Not sure how I feel about rewards, it seems like if you can take these bosses on, you are already powerful enough to beat Chest/Dark Room, and in that case - why would you deny yourself more of cool items? The appropriate reward probably would be an alternative floor themed around "astral" but asking for an entire floor surely is a tall order. Perhaps, it could pay out with some sort of "Astral Black Market" or smth, I dunno. Overall, an amazing mod with hella challenging bosses and stunning visuals. Could use a bit more audiowork, but for one person (if I understood correctly) this is an unbelievably detailed mod, great job!

While I definitely appreciate Phobos & Deimos making an appearance in the Mars sprite, I wish the bosses had more to do with the mechanics of the items themselves. For instance, Venus charms nearby enemies, so make the boss spawn a lot of ads to charm and that's the only way to damage it. Terra gives you rock tears, so make the boss spawn rocks or something as barriers which need to be broken through. Mars gives the dash, so make the boss use some attacks which can only be avoided with well-timed dashes. Mercurius would be a bit more difficult, but since the item unlocks all doors, maybe create doors around the edges of the room that send you from one side of the screen to the other, maybe make damaging the boss dependent on going through the correct door. Jupiter can only be damaged by the gas Isaac leaves behind when he has the item. Saturn can only be damaged by collecting its projectiles with the ring and using them against boss. That kind of thing.
This is a bit late, but.. it doesn’t give you the planetarium item correspondent to the boss guaranteed. The youtuber had it like that for thematic purposes.
fun fact with terra, if you kill all 4 horsemen, (together their hp is the same as the flower) terra will return to peaceful state, and give a extra reward
While they're not brand new mods, thoughts on maybe doing showcases for the Antibirth Monster Library and Cut Monster Pack from Team Compliance? They're well done implementations of unused snd scrapped enemies, but I don't really see them getting much attention and discussion compared to other content mods
Are the victory chests for these guaranteed to take you to chest/dark room if you have the item to proceed to the areas/end the run if you don’t have them? Or are these chests unique endings?
there's almost 1 month that this mod got new bosses and I still don't know what wax siren does with that sing, it doesn't seen to do anything in the fight
These bosses are so cool! Very well made good sprites, they even fit well into the game. They are a nice challenge for runs that might not make it past satan/isaac. And they are the fastest available ending on a %100 save file. Plus, even if you are having a strong run, the extra item is handy and the 50% delirium portal is great if you missed hush but didn't get the key pieces. Great mod!

While the mod idea is amazing, the bosses feel too... Quick? Bosses in Isaac are usually more sluggish, even those who are considered fast, but these just move and attack unnecessarily fast
