How to Number Paragraphs in Microsoft Word

Learn how to add numbers to paragraphs in Microsoft Word. Paragraph numbers can be useful when reviewing documents with other people and when cross-referencing bookmarks.
After adding the paragraph numbers, we will look at how to adjust the spacing between the numbers and paragraphs, start with a different number other than one, and remove the numbers when they are no longer necessary.
