A Kingdom Perspective | Pastor John Torrens

- This weekend we get to celebrate “Heritage Day” and as South Africans, it’s a day where we get to celebrate the diversities of our cultures and ethnicities, amongst other things.
I don’t know about you, but I simply love the diversities of people.
You know why? Because it’s what makes us different.
But more importantly, I see the hand of the Lord as He creatively worked out the magnificent diversities of the peoples of the world.
And all of this, in some way or other, gives us a sneak perspective of God’s awesome Kingdom.
When John the Beloved was banished to the Isle of Patmos, he was taken up in the Spirit and was given a perspective of the Kingdom.
He saw himself before the Throne of God, before which he saw a multitude of people, which no one could number, of ALL nations, tribes, peoples and tongues. (Rev 7:9)
People from all different backgrounds worshipping God!
And every time we gather together, in like manner, we get to mirror heaven’s perspective right here on earth.
