You hit it on the head Eugene. Honda Fit looks. I'm no car designer but I seriously think the interior designers could of made the dash a lot more interesting. The the Versa sedan is not bad car until you see the dash design. Same here. I was pricing this Note against the Honda fit fully equipped the Honda cost 1K more. But the Note gets much better MPG on paper.
I completely agree about the silly semi-cirlce plastic design above the climate controls. The interior material of the last Versa was much better to say the least. But cargo space seems to be larger with a shorter overall length which are the only major improvements over the last generation.
The Note looks OK on the outside but the interior is awful, especially the dashboard.I hate how the HVAC controls are squeezed into that ugly-looking little semi-circle at the bottom.Nissan also left out some interior features of the last Versa like the express up AND down power driver's window, the big, thickly-padded seats and the padded door armrests that made that car feel more expensive than it actually was.The Note's hard plastic interior just looks plain, cheap and uncomfortable. No sale.

Spare tire is underneath the body.

Originally from Russia live in Chicago.
Traction control is not needed for the Versa, not enough power in the 1.6 liter engine to spin the tires.
flat tire is underneath the car
No sunroof option, even with the top SL version? Speaking for myself: no sale, unfortunately.
Peace...AladdinSaneNYC :-)
