Wow THIS GIRL. This is definitely one of the best interviews from this series!! She has amazing emotional intelligence. I feel such a great "woman power" in her words. Just comfort in what woman is..

this is the only "celeb" interview i have ever watched where i felt the person speaking has a right to preach. She is a healer and teacher and this really changed my life ! powerful words from a very raw, very true, very conscious place. Really priveleged to have heard this interview. you go, beautiful woman !

Thanks for your honesty, Domino. So many women have mother-issues and suffer depression as a result. You need to know this is not your fault. Forgiving is good - it doesn't mean you forget; simply that you remove the power of the perpetrator to continue hurting you. And then move on with your life. You're a brave woman and mother. I salute you.

"Warm, soft and finally mine" such a beautiful statement.
I'm 36 and loving myself more as time passes. I've heard women in their 40s exclaim that when they turned 40 men stopped looking. At this point I'm ok with that. To feel free to finally live without being an object, but a true soul with more to offer this world than a pretty face. It will "finally be mine". ❤

Her comment how child birth reflects back onto you as a person and how you felt during pregnancy was a truly powerful statement. I've never considered that and thinking back to my own pregnancy and delivery I see how that can be true. I love her honesty on being a mother because it can a rewarding yet scary task to bare everyday.

  • @annabelleehelpme

The Kirke's seem like such spiritually beautiful women. I love how differently Jemima and Domino express themselves, but you can still tell that they're sisters. As a young woman who is now pregnant, hearing both of their stories has brought me great comfort. I was afraid when I found out that I was pregnant that I would lose my essence and independence as a human being. These women show me that being a mother is not a limiting identity.

This is so beautiful. And so eye opening. I can see now how my sadness and anxiety came through in the birth of my own child. My life was in such chaos at the time of my pregnancy. I had no resolve on who I was or what I wanted to be. If I had never watched this video, I wouldn't be able to say that I now understand why my labor was so difficult. "I can F*ck up and it's okay", haha I love that!
Thank you Domino for sharing your story and StyleLikeU for the series, so relatable and charming. I imagine you won't see this comment! but you're very well spoken and it couldn't be more correct to say that the body follows the mind and, to add, your mind (through even the simplest of chosen action) follows the body (through influencing neurotransmitters and chemicals). It's such an empowering realization to have and puts some control back in our hands.

It's very refreshing to find someone similar to myself who is very in tune and aware of another persons struggle and then wanting to help. From a young age I've seen a lot of adult suffering and, similar to you, I also had a mother that needed me to help with parenting, and so I suppose it's somewhat natural to develop some intuition for others' needs. I see people wanting to get healthy and using only the method of diet and exercise but they're missing so many important factors that truly contribute to a persons health (e.g. sleep, peace, a loving environment, a sense of community etc.). It's not uncommon to want to be well but not knowing how.
I'm looking to conceive soon so I really appreciated this video, although I'm 6ish years late watching it! aha, thanks for sharing, StyleLikeU!
