Gill issues are not caused by diet alone. They are usually caused by warm temperatures, improper parameters, stress, infrequent water changes, etc. All of that gravel needs to be removed as it is a serious choking and impaction hazard. Please consider removing all gravel and adding water oxygenation in some form for the axolotls.

Naturally, I wasn't expecting babies. I didn't even have supplies ready, so I did have to spend like $100+ on them. I'll sell them soon, ish once their a little bigger
