Tip: Turn all of your hangers around backwards in your closet. As you grab pieces to wear, hang the clothes back on the hanger I n the closet the correct way. After a year, the clothes on the hangers that are still flipped backwards, you can get rid of because you never wore them.
Love it. I only wish I could rifle around the back of my wardrobe and find some treasures like you have. Mine consists of some ratty old blouses and a load of skirts I would never wear now.

Im also really bad at letting things go but my rule that helps is that if the item doesn't go with at least three other things in my wardrobe then I let it go. Have you read the book "the life changing magic of tidying up"? Such a good read with helpful tips! After reading this, I was able to purge not only mine and my husband's closet, but also my two boys who share one closet. I managed to fit EVERYTHING we wore and loved.

Just a little reminder for people looking to donate their clothes to look to your local homeless shelters instead of just dropping them into a store! Especially this time of year if you have warm clothes that you no longer need, most people are getting rid of summer clothes and so they're finding it hard to give people coats and and jumpers which they need in this cold and rainy weather! Loving the depop sponsored vids atm they seem to be really encouraging people to not only sell on their clothes but donate too! :)
Give your broken or unwearable clothes/ accessories to charity shops too! They can get money by selling big bags of old, unwearable garments/ accessories to specialist "rag" companies. But, to be helpful to the charity shop volunteers, put your unwearable clothes/ accessories in a separate bag and label it "rags". :)
I just cleaned my closet past Thursday. It was difficult to chuck some clothes in the charity bag . Didn't you find some pieces like " Oh I remember when I wore that ?" Then you get all these memories thoughts lol. The good thing is that someone else that needs them will enjoy wearing them. And now you have space in your closet :).

You can sell makeup on depop! I've done it. I just sanitize it before I send it out. I've also purchased makeup off depop ($10 for a naked palette!) and sanitize it when I get it!

My tips are, shop your own closet if your looks are getting tired, start wearing those great timeless pieces you've neglected, sort out what trendy things you've outgrown (age appropriate), sell what you can, then donate the rest.

I use the Kon Mari method to declutter my clothes! Also keeping a capsule wardrobe is helpful if you live somewhere with seasons :)

Clearing your closet in parts is always better then just taking everything out :) i'd be so lost if i had to take everything out haha!
