I love Viikate, I'm a great fan of their music, but I've been looking for years for any translation of their songs, at least one or two songs. If someone knows of a web site, I'd be enormously grateful.
Anyone know where I can buy a DVD of Viikate videos? Even their music is hard to find outside Finland- they're not on any of the mp3 stores I use at any rate. I'd love a DVD of these videos though...
Translation is creation, but for one thing the agglutinative nature of Finnish conjugation allows for some very clever rhyming couplets - which would get, er, lost in translation

Tämä video esitettiin Levyraati ohjelmassa MTV3 kanavalla. Minäkin esiinnyin tällä videolla hyvin lyhyen aikaa. 😂
