As a Michelin star chef, I would like to share with you my ultimate burger recipe, complete with a recipe for homemade buns and a signature burger sauce.
      Burger Patty Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
      1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
      1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
      1 teaspoon garlic powder
      1 teaspoon onion powder
      Salt and pepper to taste
      Burger Patty Instructions:
      Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Form mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
Grill patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is achieved.
      Homemade Burger Bun Ingredients:
      3 cups bread flour
      1 tablespoon active dry yeast
      1 tablespoon sugar
      1 tablespoon salt
      1 1/4 cups warm water
      1/4 cup melted butter
      1 egg, beaten
      Sesame seeds (optional)
      Homemade Burger Bun Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
Add warm water and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
      Preheat oven to 375°F.
Punch down dough and divide into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.
Place dough balls on a greased baking sheet, cover with a damp towel, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Brush each bun with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional).
Bake buns for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
      Burger Sauce Ingredients:

Place a patty on a bun.
Add toppings of your choice, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese.

Give me a recipe for the most difficult homemade burger possible:
Certainly! Here's a recipe for a complex and challenging homemade burger:
      Title: Ultimate Gourmet Tower Burger
      Ingredients:
      - 1.5 lbs (680g) ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
      - 6 brioche burger buns
      - 6 slices of cheddar cheese
      - 12 slices of bacon
      - 1 red onion, thinly sliced
      - 2 tomatoes, sliced
      - 1 cup arugula
      - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
      - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
      - 2 tablespoons olive oil
      - Salt and pepper to taste
      Optional Toppings:
      - Pickles
      - Avocado slices
      - Fried egg
      - Caramelized onions
      Instructions:
      1. Preparing the Patties:
      - Divide the ground beef into six equal portions and shape them into patties, ensuring they are slightly larger than the burger buns to account for shrinkage during cooking.
      - Season the patties generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
      2. Cooking the Bacon:
      - In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease.
      3. Preparing the Toppings:
      - In a separate skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced red onion and sauté until they become caramelized and golden brown. Set aside.
      - Slice the tomatoes and set them aside.
      - Rinse the arugula and pat it dry.
      4. Grilling the Patties:
      - Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat.
      - Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your preference.
      - In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
      5. Assembling the Burger:
      - Toast the burger buns lightly.
      - Mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl.
      - Spread the mayo-mustard mixture on the bottom half of each bun.
      - Layer the cooked patty with a slice of tomato, bacon, caramelized onions, arugula, and any optional toppings you desire.
      - Top with the remaining half of the bun.
      6. Towering the Burger:
      - Carefully stack the prepared burger layers on top of each other, ensuring they are stable and not sliding apart.
      - Optionally, use a long skewer to hold the burger together.
      7. Serve:
      - Slice the towering burger in half if desired, and secure each half with a toothpick.
      - Serve immediately while warm and enjoy this challenging masterpiece!
Note: This recipe involves several components and requires multitasking. Be mindful of cooking times and adjust them according to your preferences.

Certainly! Here's a recipe for challenging homemade burger buns to complement your gourmet tower burger:
      Title: Artisanal Burger Buns
      Ingredients:
      4 cups all-purpose flour
      1/4 cup granulated sugar
      2 teaspoons active dry yeast
      1 cup lukewarm milk
      1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
      1 teaspoon salt
      1 large egg, beaten
      Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water)
      Instructions:
      Activate the Yeast:
In a small bowl, combine the lukewarm milk, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
      Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the yeast mixture, melted butter, and beaten egg.
Mix everything together until a shaggy dough forms.
      Kneading and Rising:
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. You can also use a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment for this step.
Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until the dough doubles in size.
      Shaping the Buns:
Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles.
Transfer the dough back to the floured surface and divide it into 6 equal portions.
Shape each portion into a round bun by tucking the edges underneath and rolling it between your palms.
Place the shaped buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between them for expansion.
Cover the buns with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes until they have puffed up.
      Baking the Buns:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush the risen buns with the egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
Bake the buns for 15-18 minutes or until they turn golden brown on the outside and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Remove the buns from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
      Assembling the Burgers:
Once the buns have cooled completely, slice them horizontally to use as burger buns for your gourmet tower burger.
These artisanal burger buns will provide a delicious and challenging homemade base for your ultimate burger creation. Enjoy the process and the flavorful results!

The best part of ChatGPT is that it retains memory of a previous response so you can go back and forth asking it to refine its responses further. In this case it would be quite easy to fix the shortcomings of the recipe with one or two followup questions (like amount of salt/seasoning or toasting the buns since a lot of it depends on individual preferences).

This is not entirely true. The conversation history is remembered on your account, not by the AI. If you delete your conversation or even open another conversation on the same account, it will have no memory of the previous conversation. This is to prevent people from training it to do stuff like spew Nazi propaganda or whatever else people would try to do to it. You can react to responses to submit your reaction to the information to OpenAI, but ChatGPT receives no training from what you say directly, and retains no memory of what you have said beyond your individual string of conversation.

So, love all the recipes, especially burgers and the but cheaper / but better burgers, but here's the content idea:
I've looked on TH-cam and there's not a SINGLE cook that does gluten-free buns well. They all look "meh" at best. Joshua and team, can you provide us with some great gluten-free bun options (maybe some for different categories that you have done, like for example Philly cheese steak bun, burger bun, sub sandwich bun, etc.)?
This would be so awesome, as I've made a lot of your dishes, but I can never truly let my girlfriend enjoy them because she always has to go without the bread option. Or, she has to use silly, disgusting, dry store-bought gluten-free bread, which really is a big F to your delicious recipes haha!

It can only replicate and/or copy what other humans have posted online. And often those recipes online are not that trustworthy and/or rely on cook experience to do stuff that's omitted there, most often not intentionally, but just because the cooks who wrote them assume any other cook knows that, which befuddles both AIs and people who don't know how to cook.

      2 tsp vanilla extract
      2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
      1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
      1 tsp ground cinnamon
      Pinch of cayenne pepper
      Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla extract, beating well after each addition.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing the cookies about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges and set in the center.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve warm with a glass of milk or your favorite beverage.
And now for the special twist: If you really want to take these cookies to the next level, try serving them with a homemade bourbon-infused whipped cream. Simply whip up 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form, and then mix in 1 tablespoon of bourbon and 1 tablespoon of confectioners' sugar. Dollop a generous spoonful on top of each cookie, and enjoy the rich, decadent flavors of this elevated twist on a classic treat.

    Ingredients:

    1/4 cup diced mushrooms
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, and rosemary)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    4 brioche buns
4 slices of aged cheddar cheese
    Arugula or other tender greens
    Truffle aioli (see recipe below)
    Instructions:
Preheat your grill or grill pan to high heat.
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, shallots, mushrooms, herbs, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.
Place the patties on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
While the burgers are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them on the grill.
Once the burgers are almost done, place a slice of aged cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of truffle aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a handful of arugula, the cheese-topped burger patty, and the top half of the bun.
    Serve immediately and enjoy!

    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 tablespoon truffle oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, truffle oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

    2 celery stalks, diced
    2 bay leaves
    2 sprigs fresh thyme
    1 sprig fresh rosemary
    1 tsp black peppercorns
    1 tsp coriander seeds
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp fennel seeds
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1 lb mixed mushrooms, sliced
    1 lb fingerling potatoes, halved
    Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
    Instructions:
    Preheat the oven to 325°F.
In a large Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Working in batches, brown the beef cubes on all sides, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Set the browned beef aside on a plate.
Add the butter to the pot and melt. Add the onions and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the carrots and celery and sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes.
Tie the bay leaves, thyme, rosemary, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and fennel seeds in a cheesecloth bundle and add it to the pot.
Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
Add the red wine, beef broth, and tomato paste. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
Return the beef to the pot and season with salt and pepper.
Cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven. Cook for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is fork-tender.
About 30 minutes before the beef is done, sauté the mixed mushrooms in a separate pan until they are golden brown.
Add the sliced mushrooms and halved fingerling potatoes to the pot and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
    Good Luck! 😂

You should try to feed chat gpt 3 with some of your recipes and ask if he can make them better and compare the results with a cooking test, that would fun to watch.

You may have won in flavor but the Ai was probably suggesting it’s recipes for the average joe and the average joe is willing to put in way less effort than you. Although I’m 100% positive yours taste better 90% of the time if I’m making it I’d choose the AI’s

All you have to do is ask for more of what ever you want. Like more flavour. Or can I make a burger sauce. Or homemade best burger Pattie’s. I’d love to see this again but with more questions asked.

very intresting experiment but i wouldve suggested the AI to make a top tier dish that no one has ever tasted, because I actully went to chatgpt rn and did the same recepies as you did and got really different results and they sounded really good. I used as Key words Michelin star, gourmet food and Fancy ingredients
