- I'm finally back after 4 months of travelling and enjoying life in Europe! This time, I'm in Bangkok and I explain why I've decided to uproot my whole life to live here!

Did the same thing. The US has become a sick joke. Bangkok, as you noted, is a good base of operations in Asia and I can travel anywhere or just stay here and immerse myself in the beautiful chaos.

Congratulations on your move to Bangkok. There are some tourists who view Thailand with disrespect. He assumes that all Thai women are prostitutes. We Thai people work in various businesses just like you. For Thai people, it is like a very insulting and disrespectful word. Even though prostitution is only a part, not the whole of the country. Many Thai people are friendly and respectful of foreigners who come to visit our country. Almost all Thai women are polite and kind. We hope that visitors who visit or live in will respect our country as we respect all of you.

Thank you for your comment. Very kind and insightful. You are indeed correct, there are many rude tourists unfortunately, as is the standard in most of the world.
Luckily, I am fully aware of this and very respectful to the local thai people. One of the main reasons I moved here was because of how respectful thai people are, and I enjoy being respectful in return.
I look forward to growing and creating a stable base in Thailand and respecting all of it's amazing people :)

🎉I am Thai people and my husband is Scottish we are both working for gov here. We love UK but we are decided to do retirement early 55years old but now we are both 39 years old and will back to Thailand buy more condo in Pattaya for living there for relax and peace and easy life style. We are like Pattaya because Pattaya got everything and not far from BKK and night life day life in Pattaya it is greatly as well and also good hospital. I love my country so much and miss all street foods and 7-11 and all hospital services in Thailand. Hope you have a wonderful time and happiness and healthy forever in Thailand pal 🎉 now everything in UK so expensive 6% everything come up with price . It is so crazy my house bill included foods/month and all kid activities and social life here cost us lot of pound and feeling like very hard to safe money this year. 3000-4000£/monthly spend out it is crazy .in Thailand we can spen 300-1000 bath /day (10-50£/day ) . ❤

Just as many rip offs in Thailand as a foreigner you get targeted very much, only thing is their cost of living is much lower so you get a false sense of security as when you get ripped off you base it on comparing with the currency from your home land so makes you feel that it's not so bad but that's not the case their are more than enough rip off artists in Thailand.
