CAPIZ TO POTOTAN, ILOILO | PHILIPPINES

Capiz is a province in the Philippines located in the central section of Western Visayas region. Its capital is the city of Roxas. It is located at the northeastern portion of Panay Island, bordering Aklan to the north, Antique to the west, and Iloilo to the south. Capiz faces the Sibuyan Sea to the north. It comprises 1 city (Roxas) and 16 municipalities, further subdivided into 473 barangays, with 2 congressional districts.
Pototan, officially the Municipality of Pototan is a 1st class municipality in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 75,070 people. The town lies on the banks of the Suage River, 30 kilometres (19 mi) north from Iloilo City. The town has an area of 94 km, 85% of which is agricultural land. And was declared as the "Christmas Capital of Western Visayas" because of its famed Christmas Festival of Lights.
