I Had to pause the video and comment on What Jessica said about turning away older trick or treaters. I TOTALLY AGREE. I love to see the older kids still having fun with innocent traditions. I had a few come to my house and gave them extra candy and I told them I was happy to see them out here enjoying themselves and to come back next year. Even a few of them didn't have costumes but I don't care. Stay young and innocent for as long as you can especially in today's world. I love it. So thumbs up Jessica!!!
Ikr, kids/teens are so keen on growing up these days, they totally forget about being a child. Once you get past that stage you can never go back. So enjoy these things while you still can :)
On my last trick or treat (age 16) 75% of the neighborhood turned me away because they were saving for the little kids and and said I needed to be an adult. My best friend and I used to go all in on Halloween costumes and trick or treat was our favorite, it was like a mini relaxation from school stresses but we had to stop because full grown adults who weren’t even our parents told us we were too old to receive candy.
I cannot even believe your neighborhood on Halloween! All the decorations and thought and effort. It's a dream! Plus baby bottle pops, boxes of Chips Ahoy, AND full-sized candy?!?! Such lucky kiddos to get that kind of Halloween experience!

Every year my favorite Ballinger Family Vlogs are the Halloween special and the Christmas special! I love all the vlogs but these ones are my favorite!!!
All the people in the ballinger family comment section are so nice and clean language-wise. I wish it was like that for all comment sections its better in my opinion :)

Theatre makeup is awesome! Jacob's scar looked amazing! I love that Bailey chose a lesser-known character. Hufflepuffs rule! Parker was so sweet telling himself not to be scared. I loved everyone's reactions to the zombie window. What a fun Halloween all around! I never got to go trick or treating as a kid, but someday I hope to have kids or a niece or nephew or some friends kids that I can take. I think I'd be as into it as Jessica.

DELIGHTFUL!!! You guys did the best family blog and maybe had some of the most fun of any of the group of family vloggers that I follow anyway. . . . . . very droll authentic kid - without all the computerized element in force (a little bit is ok...). The touch of fun fear, candy greed, magic and family-in-fun mode. Thanks Also a little bit nostalgic for us folks who used to take this for granted at Halloween.
