- Hey guys it's me jessy just wanted to post a review for anyone who is looking to get desio contacts or solotica contacts. These are my thoughts hope this helps. Thanks for the review I'm Hispanic and the same skin tone as you and was hesitating ordering the Desert Dream(I ordered them!)because I've seen mixed reviews on them. I have the forest green and love them they look very natural and I get lots of compliments

Felt like you were a friend giving a review of lenses keep it up , I have desio too but the quality is no were near solotica I had topazio they were great till new opacity now just ordered new ones in hidrocore can't wait to see.
I ordered the Smokey Grey from Desio, I have the same problem. My eyes get really red and can't wear them for more than a couple hours. I have to constantly use rewetting drops. I just ordered NC Quartzo, hopefully I have better luck.

I'm so jealous of people who find the Desio lenses comfortable. I bought 2 pair of the Forest Green and BOTH were very uncomfortable. I just ordered some Solotica, so hopefully those are more comfortable.

TysonIsKetchy YES! I've been wearing my solotica's for several weeks now and they're SO comfortable and I have had several people compliment me on my eyes and I've never had that happen with any other contact lens brand I've tried (I've had Desio, Acuvue and Freshlook).
+taccora I"m glad to hear this! I bought two pairs of Desio also and my eyes were SUPER irritated after wearing them for just a few minutes. I seriously thought I hurt my eyes. I'm now ordering Solotica and keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be comfy :)

I wore my Ocre's for a year and bought the Avela's for this year and it's been almost 4 months with the new color and they're honestly the most comfortable contacts (outside of my clear bi-weekly's) I've worn. And people honestly think they're my eye color. I can't tell you how many times people have said I have beautiful eyes when I'm wearing these contacts.

Jessy -You have the perfect skin tone and facial structure for Solotica Hidrocor Mels..which will give you a very natural green color. Have you tried them? I love mine..and no one ever thinks they are contacts. And the pupil hole is slightly bigger than the Quartzo's too. If you get them..make sure and buy them from Viallure..because I have purchased them from other sellers and they sometimes come out too dark..which as you know is typical for Solotica as they can't seem to be able to control their color quality..but I've had great luck with Viallure. Thanks for the hint i will keep that in mind. However i think i had received a bad batch with the desio desert dream i got new ones and they dont irritate my eyes anymore.
Jessy B I didn't recommend the Solotica Hidrocor Mels because you received a bad Desio pair..I just think the color and dot matrix pattern on the Solotica is of a much higher quality. The biggest problem with the Desio's in my humble opinion is that the pattern on them isn't as good/natural as the Solotica's..in that the gaps are too large and end up looking to "stripey" if you know what I mean..similar to the way Freshlook contacts are. Also..the pupil hole is much too large to look natural. Unless you have light brown eyes..your dark brown won't really blend..it will just look like you have been smoking pot and have dilated pupils..lol..as most people with light colored eyes don't have dilated pupils during the day due to the eye constricting the pupil hole for protection. The Solotica's have a larger pupil than the Quartzo's..but not so large it looks unnatural..and the iris pattern is the best in the business. Just a suggestion..but honestly your such a handsome guys most people could care less what color your eyes are buddy..lol. Take care. =)

I love desio too, but can't wear them too long. Actually I start feeling the lenes after 5 minutes I put them on! I have desio dream and carmel brown....
I just ordered Solotica hydrocharm Ocre. I will try them out !
Try changing the solution you are using. I did that and now i can wear my desio lens all the time !! :)

I use solotica, for some reason my right eye kept hurting whenever I got them on while the left one was perfect. I don't know why...
Got my Solotica Quartzo and I love them but I cant wear them more than 4 hours. My eyes get really red and irritated, but they look so beautiful and natural.
I used Desio and I was disappointed :-(
Now Solotica is my number one !!!
Solotica is known for being the most realistic lenses, I wander why here solotica quartzo looks more noticeable than desio,

Hello! I watched through your video, just a question: I see that Solotica lenses tend to move away from your eyeball as you look in right-left direction. Am I right? Because I have Solotica Crystal, and my problem is just this :-(((( that is why it looks too fake :-( And very unconfy, 4 hours to the max in wearing. I just plan to try Desio now.
You're not using the right solution! I use to use equate multi-purpose and then I switched to pure moist because that's the closest solution in the American market to AquaLentPlus, which is what is made for Solotica's in Brazil. No problem with them moving around, or drying up. I wear them for like 8 hours a day. Good stuff...
Thank you for your answer, I am right here in Hungary, Europe- and use (you are right) multi purpose sensitive solution (the same as to my normal lenses), but do not know any other solution- how could I ask for these at the optometrist? What is that they can, what my solution cannot do? Thank you for your help :-)
nicobaby0502 I have no idea what you could use in Hungary. Ask for a solution that is made for silicone hydrogel lenses. That's your best option.
You know what, it fixed mine, but I have a cousin who since done the same thing and it worked for her, but she had 2 pairs, one crystal and one quartzo. It worked for the crystal perfectly, but she says the quartzo still slides around. Both were NC, so I don't know if it will 100% fix your problem. Also, did you feel this problem after wearing the lenses for a while? or ever since you opened the vial?
right when i first put them in. they did stop after 10 mins of wearing them. i just bought the solution you recommended and they are in there right and hopefully they will be good to go for tomorrow :). but, what was cool is i also bought the pure moist eye drops for the contacts and when i dropped them in my eye it immediately fixed the problem. :) thanks
Solotica naturals lenses in quartzo color has been known for looking realistic by many people. I don't know why quarto color looks so fake on this young man. They look like if his eyes were poping out. I was about to buy quartzo lenses from Solotica and now I'm doubting. Contact lenses look so different on each person. It's so weird.
Quartz also looked fake con me, i got the natural colores and my eyes were popping out. I looked like a vampire!

Can you recommend any website or brand for farsighted contact lense but with colour . I mean colored plus it will work as a glasses for me . I searched on Google but I didnt find anything useful.

Yes I like the Desio Lens too they do look more natural but the solotica are more notice able :) good luck!

Well that is completely false , I was lucky to buy the solotica ice hidrocharme before they got discontinued . They looks great & very natural on me . They photograph very nice . Am Hispanic & I have seen many Hispanic men with this same eye color that's why it looks so natural because it going well with my Ethnicity . My brag friend has The Esmeralda & Quartzo . He's darker than I am . His Quartzo looks great but his Esmeralda don't look as natural because they are a bad batch . See what happens with solotica they keep changing there opacity & some people get lucky & get beautiful contacts & others get dull darker contacts . Another thing when buying solotica contacts you have to take in consideration your ethnicity & skin complexion .

Well I do like the Solotica Brand but not the new Quartzo It is not false im just saying the truth of what I got. These are not the Hidrocharme and i guess i got the bad batch. You are light skinned and im not so thats why they look better on you i guess. but thanks for watching :)
Thanks but I don't think am that light skinned , I guess am more off a medium tan color . Like I said with solotica sometimes it's a lottery you don't know what your gonna get . I've been lucky that my color have been great .
man4man7110 you need to take a new picture for your profile then bud cuz you don't look tan at all let alone medium tan, I agree that you look really light in complexion in the photo

Solotica Crystal Esmeralda and Quartzo are the fakest looking one out of all their collection I think. I bought the Crystal really hoping itd turn my dark browns minty green but they look white-ish blue.... and theyre too bright to a point that its zombie like. They also keep changing their opacity its really annoying hoe they can be inconsistent but theyre my fave brand so far. I have yet to try Desio but I have heard bad things bad about em
Give Desion a try you will like them I was stuck on Solotica as my favorite too until i gave desio a try and i loved them and are way cheaper. This video is old and i got a new desio pair and have no problems with them.

Solotica looks absolutely fake, desio looks more natural. The thing is, I dont think they fit to your look. Anyway, have you tried another solution? Maybe the irritation is because of a wrong solution! Thx for your video, you are very cute!

The Mels are very subtle if you dont like a loud contact.I wanna order Esmerelda and hydrosummer azul
oh ive seen the esmaraldas and they seem too popping. and I seen the reviews on mels and they look extremely real and gorgeous but I only seen them on people who have brown eyes. I have hazel. I wonder how they look on hazel eyes

really? because I thought desio had the best and most attentive costumer service out of anything I got online. I was completely shocked and very happy about how attentive they were about my order. maybe that was just the occasion but I was very happy about it and it was fast
these are DISGUSTING. They make u look like ur high on shrooms because the pupils are so gigantic. you aren't fooling anyone with these. The eyes are the windows to the soul and you're covering them up. Also, especially for guys, most people will judge guys who wear colored contacts VERY HARSHLY. it's basically like a guy wearing mascara and blush.

Sorry dear but that's your opinion contact lensers are for everybody regardless of gender it enhances your eye color so you can stand out it is not targeted to a specific sex or certain people you are just plain ignorant. If someone wants to wear contact lenses that is their choice stop being so bloody judgemental and enjoy the video no need to leave negative comments if you don't like the video.
