Personally I use Jiofiber since last 2 years and never had downtime . Jiofiber is very much reliable Frankly speaking due to short circuit in my house my Router was not working no LEDs not even turning ON.I raised the complain at 10PM. The next day morning around 10:15AM they visited my home and replaced the router+ adaptor with a complete new router with new packing without taking a single charge or asking any question
Using airtel for the last 2 years and the service has been outstanding. No downtime and can easily run 3 PCs and 2 DVR's on LAN and multiple phones on wifi on 40 Mbps plan. Totally satisfied..
One Major Difference is that in airtel we can use bridge mode (we can use our own better router) and airtel can also provide static IP (so we can easily host minecraft servers etc)

Moreover whatever the plans we take we always get 20% more speed of that. In addition if anyone holds the airtel credit card then he will get 25% cashback also. So no doubt airtel is 110% best for me

Honestly saying - never purchase jio fibre if you are living in a preety big home, it will disconnect when you will move only 10 METERS far, really I reccomand Airtel firbre, it has huge range , I can say 5 times easily, even it operates in 2 floors efficiently. However, in Airtel you may experience some down time in a couple of days in a month that is a also a big trouble, Honestly, they both have very concerning faults. Edit - I am giving review after 1 year of using them both
The best part about airtel fibre is that you'll usually get more speed than your current plan, for example 40mbs plan gives more than 60mbs all the time and even 100mbs+ occasionally, same for 100mbs plan which always gives around 150mbs and sometime even 200mbs+ whereas in jio if you get 30mbs plan you may get speed lower than 30mbs but never more than that. I've used both but ended up choosing airtel cause spending 50/100 rupees extra for 2x speed is definitely worth it imo.
I have been using Airtel fiber in Bhagalpur Bihar for many days. For 3 years and till now I have not had any problem. Even if there is a problem, the problem is solved within a short time by making a complaint and it is a very good experience and has been doing it for a long time. I use Basic plan. The one with 40 mbps is good enough, no problem.
Airtel comes with offer 3004 rs for 6 months , free installation 40 Mbps speed Jio comes with 2824 approx for 6 months 30 Mbps free installation. In my opinion I use both , Jio gives speed around 28-29 Mbps and Airtel gives around 47-49 Mbps of Speed. But in practical use , jio is far far better than Airtel in speed. Jio never gives any problem, but Airtel gives problem while connecting friends phone or new phone and also sometimes I feel internet speed is not upto the mark.

You missed one point, with Jio (OTT subscription) you can watch 550+ regular TV channel. So there is no need for separate DTH connection ( which is needed in airtel and OTT apps dont work without recharging DTH)
If you are a casual internet user then probably Jio is enough but Airtel has advanced features like Port Forwarding etc coz their IP addresses are public whereas Jio has private address

I have AIRTEL XTREAM FIBER and i opted for base plan which is 499/- and they didn't charged me any extra GST for 1 year plan And i asked them why is that ? then they said they are not charging any extra gst for base plan from AIRTEL For the other plans they do charge GST extra Soo for me i thought compared to JIO, i felt AIRTEL is much more value as JIO 399/- + extra GST = 480+ something they are charging which is for 30mbps and they just give 30 limited speed, not few mbps more than that While AIRTEL is giving me 70 to 80 mbps speed for the 40mbps plan This is the pincode where i live 507101 I feel like they did that on purpose to attract more users and stay in the competition.... Let me give you an honest opinion. I've been using Jio Fiber for last 3 and half years. 7 days ago I shifted to Airtel Fiber. Airtel is far far better If you choose 30 Mbps plan - they will give you at least 45 Mbps speed Have my word - go to Airtel Fiber

I am using Airtel xstream since 4 years 200mbps. Same house, same devices, same router location.. It was a Nokia router and it served me well with not downtime and speed always above 200 in all rooms.. But 2 months ago I began having issues with speed.. I wou6get 0.5mbps to 30mbps and if I'm lucky 150mbps.. For last 1 month I'm calling Airtel they do remote optimization but it fixes the issue temporarily. Recently got router replaced and the problem persist. The technician says "router bahar lagao yaha lagao.. 40mbps hall mein Aa raha hain woh bhi bura nahi hain".. For last 4 years I'm getting 200mbps with the same setup.. But now they are saying I have more devices etc.. Has anyone faced this issue? What can be done? It seems the technical team on ground who they send at home are just good for installation and changing ssid etc but have zero basic network knowledge. I mean they can't comprehend that I'm was getting coverage n speed with same setup for 3-4 years..
Check the Rx optical power in router configuration page. It should be between -18 to -25. If it isn't then problem is in the connection line i.e. bad splicing etc. If it is between the mentioned values, router is the culprit. Ask them to give new Nokia router which served you well. I had similar problem. Turns out Dragonpath router was the culprit. Issue got resolved when they gave me Nokia router on my request. Had to raise a request 7-8 times though.
Download speed of Jio Air fibre is 4 Mbps at max...599 plan 30 Mbps...which is much lower than the mobile 5g which provides 20 Mbps on average at the same location

I have been using Airtel fiber in Bhagalpur Bihar for many days. For 3 years and till now I have not had any problem. Let me give you an honest opinion. I've been using Jio Fiber for last 3 and half years. 7 days ago I shifted to Airtel Fiber. Airtel is far far better
If you choose 30 Mbps plan - they will give you at least 45 Mbps speed
Have my word - go to Airtel Fiber

My personal experience: Speed is satisfactory in both. But Airtel is far superior and prompt when it comes to rectifying glitches,faults & also in after sales service.

I am using Airtel xstream since 4 years 200mbps. Same house, same devices, same router location.. It was a Nokia router and it served me well with not downtime and speed always above 200 in all rooms.. But 2 months ago I began having issues with speed.. I wou6get 0.5mbps to 30mbps and if I'm lucky 150mbps.. For last 1 month I'm calling Airtel they do remote optimization but it fixes the issue temporarily. Recently got router replaced and the problem persist. The technician says "router bahar lagao yaha lagao.. 40mbps hall mein Aa raha hain woh bhi bura nahi hain".. For last 4 years I'm getting 200mbps with the same setup.. But now they are saying I have more devices etc.. Has anyone faced this issue? What can be done? It seems the technical team on ground who they send at home are just good for installation and changing ssid etc but have zero basic network knowledge. I mean they can't comprehend that I'm was getting coverage n speed with same setup for 3-4 years..
Check the Rx optical power in router configuration page. It should be between -18 to -25. If it isn't then problem is in the connection line i.e. bad splicing etc. If it is between the mentioned values, router is the culprit. Ask them to give new Nokia router which served you well.
I had similar problem. Turns out Dragonpath router was the culprit. Issue got resolved when they gave me Nokia router on my request. Had to raise a request 7-8 times though.

Mine is a Jio Fibre of 30mbps. I am fully satisfied with its speed.
Download speed of Jio Air fibre is 4 Mbps at max...599 plan 30 Mbps...which is much lower than the mobile 5g which provides 20 Mbps on average at the same location
