Hi Elizabeth. I teach mainly out of my teaching center in Santa Rosa and some conventions. I am not traveling and educating like I used to. I love making content from my homestead studio and teaching facility. All the best.
I’m going to buy this for my office. If you use Miyo prior to crystallizing, do we just use our regular emax cycle or does that need to be changed? If we need to refire because the color is off or we choose to stain after firing, do we use that same exam cycle or do we use a different cycle?
Speed cycle or the superspeed crystallization cyclein in the CS6 with MiYO 850 works just fine. Any further firing for additional characteristics, use the e. max correction cycles. You will love the MiYo! All the best!
Ive been working with 850 MiYO for a few months and have been having trouble finding the right consistency for my glaze and stains. Ideally id want them flow as well as yours do. I was wondering if you add staining liquid, if so could you share how much?
@@duccks i wet the brush only, and when a need for more liquid, dip the brush again, think of latex paint, it should apply smoothly without remaining brush strokes, if this happens, wet some more by dipping the brush in the liquid, and then dilute on the ceramic surface.
great video doc! do you have any training on capturing accurate photos of adjacent teeth to have a reliable reference photo during staining/glazing? thanks again doc!
Good questions. I recommend a macro lens with a flash, ring, or point l. PhotoMed has several good systems for dentistry. www.photomed.net/macro_flashes.htm#i40
This video is about glazing and coloring e.max. For ceramic selection , see linked video. All the best. th-cam.com/video/qaffAh_47Vw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QcUbhioH7-4KmlHh

That is some serious artistry James!!! 🔥
Thanks Steve, all the best!
Thank you teacher
Any time
If someone isn’t comfortable coloring the purple state eMax they could mill GC LiSi blocks and then still characterize with the Miyo
Yes, use the MIiYO aesthetic, not the MiYo 850. Lower fusing temp and can be determined universal for all ceramics and zirconia.
This is the way. It you are going to fire the restoration LiSi all the way. Mills so superior to eMax it isn’t funny.
Hola James,mi nombre es Jordi me gustan tus videos soy nuevo en Miyo ( lo estoy probando)te sigo
Thanks for the vids, Doc. Where do we purchase the Milo system in the US?

@@KlimDDSthank you for the response! We have a programat CS. Would the regular emax preset in there work with the stain?
@@joshhindman5737 Yes, use the faster cycle with 850, will work just fine.

Hello dr. Klim,
Love your videos! What brand do you use? How do chose your primary color, so A1 etcetera and also Ht/Mt or LT?
Sincerely,
Felix Brüll
What brand brushes I wanted to ask?

How do you correct the color scheme if we do it too much? For example with the mamelons? Just clean it with a clear brush tip?
Yes, this system is forgiving, and if need be, just remove and start over if you are not seeing what you want.
