tough to get age on these Michigan deer with the way this states management is, but we've had some luck getting them to 3 and an occasional 4 year old. it's definitely hard though. good luck in the years to come, and congrats on your harvest

Watched this last night decided I better get my but out there and put in more work , had about an hour before work and after weeks of working the woods I finally got my first buck with a bow this morning
That’s how you make them come out . Play with the phone . Works like a charm for some reason for me . Even played music a few times and sure enough looked down and they’re feeding . Only little ones but they didn’t mind or look up . 😊

I like when they poke their heads out of the pines . If there’s a bunch of pines around a cornfield or in the middle , that’s where they ll be . A guy around here set up his farm with pines in the middle of the field and they always go in there and come out at dusk
Chris- how you liking that granite colored V3X? Does it show scuff marks and dirt easily? I’m debating on buying granite, elevated 2 or ambush green. Thanks

Had a similar scenario this year with my buck. Just sent a text and was screwing around on FB, looked up, seen him, grabbed my bow, drew back, stopped him and smoked him at 27 yards. All in about 30 seconds lol.
Chris To see better bucks in Michigan you cannot shot small ones. Let them go. Then u go out to lowa and pass up a bigger buck. My brother shot a 156 and 145 this yr. And that is from letting small ones go. Love your stuff. Have a great day.

Facts on deer size. In northern Minnesota we don't see huge deer but somehow my buddie nailed an absolute brute. It's gotta be 130 plus.
