Am I the only one who feels like phase 1 is the most underrated time of Gorillaz? I mean we got their break-through hit Clint Eastwood, but a lot of other songs on self-titled are slept on all the time.
I agree the self-titled album will forever be my favorite album because of the songs I love that the album can switch from something that starts off normal with songs like Re-hash and 5/4 and then slowly gets more not distorted but different in a way I can't explain but then you hear songs like Man Research, Double Bass, and sound check but man that album is so good and I think people should talk more about the self titled

This LP was released December 10, 2021 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the band's debut album by supplying the release with official Gorillaz music material such as Live at The Forum, London in 2001.

This was all thanks for #FreeTheSea because many fans wanted them to release the songs that weren't released on Plastic Beach and now there's a lore for them to release more content from each album
