Hard Carry is from about 2.5 years after their debut so they're between 23 and 19 in this. The two youngest members of Got7 are the same age as Bang Chan. Honestly Got7's concepts are all over the place since they can kill whatever they do, you never really know what sound you're going to get.
This video is actually from 2016, so GOT7 members were all younger than Stray Kids members are currently (Mark, oldest, 22; Yugyeom, maknae, 18). Looking forward to your future GOT7 reactions!
You may know this but Hard Carry is the second mv in a trilogy, theres a whole story to it. Theres a reason Jinyoung is in water and upside down and floating off. Lol (Fly is the first in the trilogy and Never Ever is the finale)

With got7 you never know what you’re gonna get, they don’t stick to just one genre and I love that about them. I suggest not by the moon, if you do, last piece, and also you want a jaw dropping performance I also recommend aura blindfold version. It’s breathtaking 💚💚

Thanks for checking out Got7. Got7 is VERY UNSERIOUS but they also don't play about their music, as a group and solo wise like they are very invested in the production and lyric writing. All albums since the the trilogy era have songs that are written by some of the members and soon it became every member who wanted to participate had a song on each album. I really do recommend watching their variety programs that you can find on TH-cam. it really gives you an idea of their personalities within the group. I love them very much and I hope you guys come to do the same.
TLDR: got7 are unserious asl and love their craft more than anything. They are a riot when they are together and I would love to watch your journey.
Their whole Flight Log series is/will be such a classic of kpop history. 2016 was such a great year for songs/concepts, all round. GOT7 are such legends and their variety is so wonderful. They are both somehow totally unbothered and also such chaos, love them

Just so you know, "Hard Carry" is connected to GOT7's "Fly" and "Never Ever" and they are all part of their Flight Log album. In order to understand the full story you have to watch all 3 MVs, as well as their teaser trailer videos for Flight Log. The story starts out in "Fly" and continues in "Hard Carry," where we see they have been in a plane crash, which is why we see Jackson and BamBam inside the plane with all the oxygen masks hanging.
The theory is that all the members died in the plane crash except JinYoung. You will see in "Never Ever" how he is brought back to life. We also see Mark in the back of the ambulance, but he just gets up and walks away like his spirit is exiting the ambulance. And YoungJae is in that white space with all the green trees as if he is in Heaven.
Then we see JB (*Jay B) in that same Heaven-like space, but the trees have turned brown, as if they are now dead -- which I think is because their spirits are being summoned from Heaven back into the real world -- they need to save JinYoung before they can be at peace.
They are all in that apocalypse-looking scene with everything on fire and the smashed cars, etc. because that is the destruction that happened after the plane crashed. It is thought the reason why we see them all under water is because JinYoung is drowning/dying -- maybe the plane crashed in the water or maybe it's just a metaphor for slipping away and struggling to breath -- and the other ghost/spirit members have to save him. There is also a theory that the reason why JinYoung is trapped in the box and drowning is because it's a metaphor for his feelings of guilt as the only surviving member.
I'm not sure if you understand the meaning of the term "Hard Carry." Hard Carry is a multiplayer video game term that means the other players have to Hard Carry the weakest player in the group, making up for their shortcomings or weakness in the game in order to keep the team alive. Therefore, the GOT7 members have to make the sacrifice to Hard Carry JinYoung in order to keep him alive. Which is why at one point we see him floating above the other members and they literally catch him as he falls.
Something to note: The reason why there are references to birds like in "Hard Carry" for example, is because GOT7's fandom iGOT7 sounds like Aghase in Korean, which means "baby bird," therefore, the birds symbolize their fans.
If you think this choreography looks intense in the MV, just wait until you see GOT7 perform the 2X speed version on Weekly Idol, now that's insane, LOL.

Loads of groups have covered the choreo of Hard Carry since it's known to be quite challenging... The Hard Carry MV is part of a storyline so that's why it may seem a bit weird at times...
Ahh yes, our mature and grown-up crack7 who got their table confiscated at an award show, live and die by rock paper scissors, breaking tables backstage of a music show, and who pioneered the cringy but hilarious boyfriend version dance practices 😆
Seriously though Got7 is one all-time ult of mine, there's something that still sets them apart. They definitely do have more mature, sexy vibes and discography, and the visuals just👌
I recommend Lullaby (also the dp for the insane choreo), Nanana (first proper release post-JYP!), If you do (spot Jayb's angry chin hehe), Poison (which Jacks called a 'daddy song', live), Page (live) 🙏💚
Hard Carry was such a big song for them, the choreo was known for its difficulty and intensity. You should check out the dance practice or a live performance, like AAA 2019. They also did a 2x speed version which is insanity considering how fast it is originally.
(also if you're interested in ages they range from '93 to '97, so their youngest are same age as SKZ Chan - they trained together and he almost debuted with Got7)

Finally after shirk break from exams😅. Got7 is such a good group I am huge fan of them because I usually don’t listen to other jyp groups. I was a fan of jj project so when they announced got7 I was so happy and yes I made the biggest decision of going from jb bias to jinyoung when got7 was made 😅 so glad they are doing good now individually!
