That was an amazingly beautiful area! Even if you had not found a thing, what a great place to hike! But you found some cool specimens. And those apache tears were awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks so much for your kind words once again! That was a neat place! I did learn later that the prime area for finding nicer pieces is actually on top of that Mesa. Guess we’ll have to go back another time.😉
Such a beautiful area and your dogs seemed to love roaming out there. So many nice specimen finds. The one that went from pottery to a agate was a very nice surprise ! Oh wow the apache tears are beautiful with the light shining through them ✨Enjoyed watching😊
Yes, that was a uniquely beautiful area and the dogs love that kind of rockhounding! And every hill that we hiked up, Rusty and Ruby went up at least twice. They were much tired puppies on the trip home. Thanks so much for your always encouraging words!
LOVING YOUR VIDEOS. The views are Spectacular. The Finds Are Beauties. THANK YOU FOR THE BLESSING AND MAY THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY POUR MANY BLESSINGS UPON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN JESUS NAME AMEN AMEN AND AMEN!!!
10:00 might have some more quartz crystals hiding under that calcite. Might be worth deep frying in muriatic lol. Thanks for taking us along on another beautiful adventure!
Nice finds! Went there last summer and did ok. Found a few nice blue colored banded agates and some big calcite filled pieces too. Interesting geology out there!
Thanks! I read in an article, after we were there, that the better specimens could be found on the table top to the north. I can see why. From the drone video I got, that would be quite a hike! Well, now I’ll have to go back some time to find out if it’s actually true. 😉
Thanks Krawdad and blessings to you and yours 😇
Thanks Bill!
