para fazer isso você teve que ativar o faturamento? eu pensei que podíamos testar sem ter que cadastrar cartão, embora eu saiba que temos 300$ em crétido, mesmo assim, para ativar a api vertex precisa ter faturamento, é verdade isso?

The problem with API, either mistral api, gemini api, openai api is the data privacy.
The only way to use ai in real life is to use our own datasets. Thus, privacy is the key. And Api is not the solution.
The solution is to run the best possible llm that compares with openai (tbh I am fed up with the self claim... O mistral beats openai, llama beats openai, gemini tops them all... Bla bla bla) but once tried openai still the best there is.
So I am still waiting for the real local llm that beats openai.

yeah openai is still miles ahead, I don't think the benchmarks are that meaningful, even Mistral 8x7b does not hold water to openai

@@damien2198 For creativity id still prefer using openai instead of gemini. You can try both and you can see a big difference in terms of creativity, GPT 4 is far better in my opinion and based on my use case
