- We spent 3 days hiking and camping the remote Southern NSW coast of Australia. I reckon this could be one of NSW Best hikes!
This is just a re-edit of a trip we did last year.
I originally popped it up in three parts but not a great deal happened so I always wanted to go back and mash it down into one fast paced video, more for me than anything else. I hope you enjoy!

It’s crazy the things you’ll see in the bush sometimes. We were at the Watagans (of all places) and were visited by a spotted Qual. Hadn’t seen one before… a bit of research and we found out it was actually an endangered species.

God I love Australia! I have even gotten halfway through the video and I’m commenting. We used to get dolphins swimming up close to our ships at Fleet Base West 30+ years ago. They’d just cruise past slowly with one eye out of the water looking at you standing on the QX of a DE 6 feet above. Magical!
And the whales! They look awesome!

Never seen this coastline in any of these videos yet! Totally reminds me of the coastline in my hometown Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape South Africa and also Garden Route Tsitsikamma, We also get dolphins and whales

The hat is from the surf brand ‘Billabong’. Should still be able to find it online. Just type waxed billabong wide brimmed hat and it’ll probably come up. They only do the one style like that 🤙

Do it mate! It’s a really beautiful hike. Nothing very difficult about it either, no crazy steep sections, just some up and over headlands. But the terrain changes so much and it’s just stunning. A really enjoyable walk/hike.
What's the starting point for the walk mate? I haven't done a coastal camp in a few decades.

It wasn’t an amazing video but I just wanted to redo it for myself more than anything.

Kangaroos swim in salt water to get rid of ticks…same for 2 legged animals

Not a fan of repeats, still giving you a like, want more content. Not a fan of shorts, usually another repeat. Big fan of Australia, wouldn't even consider an overseas holiday apart from Tasy ,Rotty, Kangy, Frazy etc . Love camping trips ,place reviews ( not secret ones but public knowledge places ), gear reviews , how to camp, choosing campsites, food pack-outs Australian style, pack contents for trips, Ultralight, Comfort, Bush craft, Survival, Budget. Skills and Tips.There is so much missing from Australian you tube content. Thank you. Ray.
Hey mate, thanks for the like, you have some great suggestions there and now that I’m going full time with it I have a lot I’m ready to work on. But please, please bloody respect that most of us work a full time job. It doesn’t take 5 minutes to edit a video. It takes upwards of 30 hours. The editing itself is already a second full time job, not including the time away, time preparing, cleaning gear.
You had some great feedback there but you also could have kept some of that to yourself.
I don’t make content just for you.
If there is so much missing then maybe you should start your own channel, then you might understand how much work is involved.
