Hey guys, Today I share just some of the small things that make me love living here in Germany. I did not preplan this list so these were just the first things that came to mind. Enjoy! LG, Stacey
So schön zu hören, dass es Menschen gibt, die so viel Positives über das Leben in Deutschland empfinden. Ja, wir wissen gar nicht, wie gut wir es hier eigentlich haben.. Ich bin auch eine Ausländerin, mittlerweile über 30 Jahre in DE. Ja, es gibt auch Negatives zu erwähnen, aber im grossen und ganzen haben wir es hier echt gut und wir jammern auf hohem Niveau.
100 pro. Deutschland bietet viele lebenswerte Dinge. Aber auch kleine süße Überraschungen. An jedem Ort der Welt gibt es immer etwas, das einem nicht gefällt.
Ich habe das Video noch gar nicht bis zum Ende gesehen und mir laufen schon Tränen der Rührung über die Wangen. Es ist unglaublich wohltuend von dir zu hören, was das Leben in Deutschland so lebens- und liebenswert macht. Danke dafür. Vieles habe ich als Deutsche bisher als selbstverständlich hingenommen und gar nicht darüber nachgedacht. Z. B., dass Leute einen gefundenen Gegenstand aufheben und ihn an einen Zaun oder in einen Baum hängen, und auch die "zu verschenken" - Kisten. Ich wusste nicht, dass das typisch deutsch ist. Ich wünsche dir, dass du noch viel Liebenswertes hier entdeckst und deine Begeisterung für dieses Land nicht verlierst.
Liebe June, danke für den Kommentar. Ich freue mich, dass es dich berührt hat. Manchmal ist es auch schön, darüber nachzudenken, warum man eine Entscheidung getroffen hat. Es ist schwer, von meiner Familie und meinen Freunden getrennt zu sein. Als ich dieses Video drehte, lernte ich die kleinen Dinge schätzen, die ich daran mag, hier zu sein. Thank you very much for your declaration of love to my home country. That's why I love the channels of you expats here in Germany - I can see my home through different eyes. Either if it's positive or negative. You guys (and girls, of course, sorry) keep me reflecting about things I take for granted or don't even think about in the first place. And regarding the "if you don't like it here, leave" comments: don't give it any thought whatsoever. Those come from Trolls who try to mask their own insecurity and dissatisfaction by bullying others and feeling elevated by doing so. It's more of a psychological insufficiency of them than it is a critique of you. You live here - you have all the right in the world to point out the good as well as the bad. It is *not* that you should be grateful "that we let you live here" (🤮🤮) rather than *we* should be proud that we've become an attractive country to be living in. Hey, for whatever reasons you had, you chose to live here and leave your own home country. Something none of those morons could ever do. Not because they think they're living in heaven on earth but because they don't have the guts to do anything that brave! That had to be said...
You’re comment spoke to my heart. Exactly, exactly, exactly. I love to hear what people say about my home, country good and bad, self reflection is never a bad thing. It takes a lot for someone to move to a new country and leave there family and culture behind. I mean, how lucky am I that it was a choice?! Also how lucky am I that I got an opportunity to come and live here and be here relatively easy because of where I was born?! I don’t take it for granted, but of course I love and miss aspects of my home. We’re all just here in earth sharing our experiences with one another. He did see it and it definitely made him feel loved, which he is and should feel. I didn’t move half way across the world for nothing. 😉🥰💛

Mein Berufsleben habe ich überwiegend in amerikanischen Konzernen verbracht und das hat mich gelehrt, dass die USA nicht so schlimm sind, wie sie oft dargestellt werden. Die Amerikaner, die ich kennen lernen durfte, waren durch die Bank besser, als ich erwartet hatte. Ich freue mich über jeden Amerikaner, der gerne in Deutschland lebt (und uns unsere Macken aufzeigt). Ganz dicht seid Ihr ja auch nicht. ;)
