with the amount of coin, gumballs, and other small items you tend to sell in a run it means blade is very unlikely to hit the same scale (plus large item perks tend to be crazy good)
@@jyrig but the coins and gumballs don't trigger the "buy' part of beast of burden so that doesn't scale its damage right? Small items you get yeah but I feel like that isn't thaat common.
@@genieinthepot2455 Yeah I was wrong on gumballs, they don't trigger on beast . but I'd wager the average run comes into contact with more small items to buy than gumballs, especially since you can purposefully steer towards them via small items vendors or junk vendor with that in mind.

I heard from someone leading the game that the engine building design and upgrading items won't be the idea when so many cards get added you will be incentivized to swap or not be able to hard force a meta build. Im excited to see where this game is in a year
That sort of design never works, players always find a way to optimize chances and make a meta core. It's not like card games are a new thing, we have something like 200 combined years of the main TCGs trying to create a wide cardpool work and it never really does.
Dagger is usually way better than beast, especially if you don't get a silver/gold one early. Beast scales off more things, but weapons are usually pretty easy to buy/sell, and the massively reduced CD is a big plus.

It's crazy how NL sees how he gets obliterated by most builds yet never bothers to take 2 seconds to maybe learn something for his builds for the future.
NL, if you could, when playing as the pig boar guy, save the spare change, chocolate bars, or piggles, if possible until level up, for the chance to upgrade those items. have some self control on the buy-sell mechanics. in my opinion, you want to focus on survivability and dishing out big Dick damage on one item with invulnerability enhancement. basically get the most out your buck before you sell or buy.
Am I stupid or should NL have won at 47:11, the subscraper healed for 1376 to put the property baron at 1375, so the property baron must've been at -1 health (dead) before it went off? (I know he dies to skyscraper at the same time, but shouldn't they both have been dead at the same time for a draw?)
