Are the bolts/nuts on the gas struts supposed to be tightened? After I completed the install I noticed the nuts securing the struts to the brackets were not tightened at all on either strut. Is this normal? Also i destroyed my wiring harness while drilling the holes 😢

What are the rivets connected to? What keeps them from backing out? It looked like nothing solid was drilled into when he drilled into the dash besides just plastic. Do they act like a concrete anchor bolt?
They act like a wall anchor, correct. Be VERY CAREFUL when drilling the holes. Reach your hand under the dash and be sure that you’re not going to hit your wiring harness like I did. Luckily I only hit one wire, my power steering wire. But now I need to try and figure out how to access the area under the dash so I can fix the wiring harness.
Just got mine in the mail today came in 2 boxes and I also got the wiper for it..I'll be taking it to my dealer to install to avoid that and other issues..let me know how the windshield is holding up for you
Do you know exactly what wires were messed up? Mine are up a real small wire lume, so far everything is working fine, starts up and drives and all lights work. Not sure what it could be

Is there any warranty on this. My shield is cracked and my shocks makes a crazy amount of noise

I’m curious why not utilize the factory location for the mount rather than use anchors in plastic.
This kit is made to fit a few different models and not all models have the exact same factory mounting points to be able to use them.

They mushroom out

@@RyanSanisloI did the exact same thing!!!! Now I don’t know what to do! Smh trying to figure out how to remove the dash to see what damage I’ve done
I can't get the windshield to seat properly, it bows out from the seal being in the way at the top. I have tried everything.
Mine is currently doing the same thing. What was your fix?
Make sure you have the brackets on the right side of the window... I had mine on the wrong side and that is what it did
Is there a wiper kit for it?
Quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever bought for my can am. Save yourself the head ache and frustration and buy a normal windshield
This windshield isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is super versatile for most riders!
Drilled holes as instructed, bit destroyed wiring harness under dash. $800 fix.
What year is yours... I ordered one for mine and don’t want to have that happen to mine
