So happy to see Bella Basim comment not because of the couple but the fact that Ishq Jalebi finally getting all the fame it deserved. I felt it was very less promoted and also got over shadowed by immense success and promotion of Chupke Chupke, it seems many people have watched it late on. 😁 Ishq Jalebi is something that I would rematch like I have rewatched the baraat series so many times.
So true, it didn’t get that much views, same like JO BICHAR GAYE, while same channel n senseless dramas like KAM broke all records, n these days Must e khaq… wonder what’s the politics, but I bet that Ishq Jalebi n Bela Basim were the bestest from all drama of the year, I’m watching it on a repeat, it’s my daily dose and I never feel bored, while any drama no matter how good it was , I will never go back n watch it from this yr2021

For me its Wahaj and Madiha as Bela and Basim for sure in ishq jalebi.. their chemistry was just something else.. they created magic.. every time they both came on screen there was a strike of glow immediately.... the build up of their love and chemistry was so natural and pure.. it was not like they woke up someday and fell in love with each other it was gradual.. the realisation part of basim that he is in love was so nicely portrayed.. you understood why was he reacting the way he did..him coming to her room every time he got a chance, on the wedding day just to get a glimpse of her.. and bela's initial one sided love was just pure bliss.. she was strong enough to let go of her love to just see the person she is in love with happy and follow his passion and not becoming a wall in front of him.. and there were so many point apart from the things i mentioned... i justttt can't.... there chemistry was just so freakinggg gooooddd!!!!

Watching the dramas on air these days, we see 3 types of performers.
1. The stars, Feroze Khan like Danish Taimoor, who rely on their image for popularity. Image of obsessive, toxic lovers is considered a sign of muscularity and being macho.
2. The actors, like Talha Chahour and the guy playing the Bengali professor. They rely solely on performance and are showing brilliance in non commercial art form of drama. They have to now prove themselves in commercial dramas.
3. The popular actor with fandom, like Wahaj, Bilaal, Ahmad Ali Akbar, who are equally convincing in both commercial and parallel drama.
Among girls, Yumna is the most convincing, natural performing actor who can do all sorts of roles.
Mahira and Sajjal are stars. Although Mahira performed brilliantly in HKKST, she does the Rona dona roles well, and lacks range. Similarly, Sajjal , lately is seen in posh roles with elaborate curls, blow dried hair and makeup look.
Cant agree more about danish and feroz... They both are biggest names from all the names u mentioned... But they are not taking risks... Talha and professor are very good... About bilal his ratio for good projects is really getting low... Now it is almost 50%... About wahaj his ratio for good projects is almost 90%... But i doubt if he did any of other project for 7th sky then dont know what to say... And AAA does really less work... just 1 serial after almost 2 years... It should be wonderful, so it is... He needs to work more... Now the excuse that there are not good enough dramas is lame... This year was such a wonderful year for good projects...
And yes yumna is playing victim characters again and again.
@@fatimaahmed2118 It’s quality that matters not quantity. Why 50% for bilal? Except for dunk, that didn’t go well, I loved him in pyar ke saday , EJLS, and now in Dobara. He was good in cheekh too. He always experiments, although I would rate Wahaj and AAA better actors.

I think there are some hints of their coming again together in another saima akram's project for 7th sky... I wish we dont get something like fitoor... Something like ishq jalebi is warmly welcomed...
Danish and Minal had a grt chemistry in ishq hai it was the best thing in the drama.
Ayeza and Osman had a cute chemistry in chupke chupke which was quite refreshing. Same goes with Wahaj and Madiha but wanted more of their chemistry in ishq jalebi.
I also like Ali Rehman with both Sarah and Ayeza in Lapata.

It was a believable buildup, from her pining unreciprocated love, to his jealousy and then realization that he adored her too.
It was a slow build, with tons of chemistry…that makes it pretty organic and natural…loved them in Ishq Jalebi…even Ashiq Hussain and Sajjo had tons of chemistry making the whole drama a form of great storytelling

Wahaj and Maya in JBG (again not watching it, but in the clips I've seen it's palpable)
PS: the list doesn't go from low to high or high to low. Jo mujhe yaad aate gaye woh maine likhe😅Also, this year I think the clear winner in terms of chemistry, dramas and, in short as an actor as a whole is Wahaj Ali.

'Flawed perfection' or 'flawed correction' can be an example of oxymoron.
In case of tautology, the example is 'flawed and imperfect' / 'flawed and incorrect'.
I think my most favourite couples from 2021 are:
1. Shams & Falak ( Because I used to make scenarios while watching them🙈)
2. Shams & Geeti ( Just loved these two good looking people together)
3. Mishi & Haddi ( Loved their nook jhook)
4. Fazi & Menu ( They were just so cute together ❤)
5. Nasir & Noor ( Loved their chemistry throughout AKT specially on bed), Ammera & Insha's cousin ( A few minutes love story with such an impact kay mai rona lag para)
Special mentions: Baloo-Shai & Peetha, Soniya & Captain Sahib, Soniya and Wahaj's character and Zubi with Sarmat's character

Surprisingly, I felt that Nauman Ajaz and Iqra Aziz had good chemistry in Raqeeb Se. Ayeza and Osman had the best chemistry this year, in my opinion. And if we talk about recent dramas, Bilal Abbas and Hadiqa Kiani have got me the most excited (and they are not even a couple yet!), as well as Talha Chahour and Maya Ali in Jo Bichar Gaye.
Bella and Basim had the best chemistry for 2021. Osman Khalid Butt and Ayeza Khan also had a great chemistry in Chup Chup ke it was most entertaining too. These are my top two for sure. I do believe Zohra and Moosa were also extremely good. There are several scenes of them that I still remember. Also Yumna had great chemistry with Wahaj in DNUTN. And yes Sawera and Zulfi had some very nice scenes together.

More than Fawad Khan, I feel Hamza Ali Abbasi always had a great chemistry with her female leads.
With Sarwat Gilani in MDKJZM, Maya Ali in Mann Mayal, Sajal Ali in Alif, Hania Amir, Aisha Khan, Sohai Ali Abro. But the best was with Ayeza Khan in Pyare Afzal... though they didn't have a lot scenes together or any intimate interactions. They are till date one of the best on screen couple. ❤
@Hassan - I re-watched Chupke Chupke and everything from the bedroom scenes, to their cute fights and even the scene on the terrace where she wants a divorce, their chemistry sizzled. My vote is for feenu.

I have been following Pakistani dramas for a few years now but came across your channel only recently and have been watching your episodes almost daily (and also trying to catch-up on old episodes in my spare time). Regarding the 'Best Onscreen Couple of 2021', I actually do like the chemistry between Sajal and Azaan, I think it's quite sizzling in some scenes and extremely cute in others. They surely are among my Top 5 onscreen couples of 2021.
