      Give yourself a minute. If it’s too tough and you’re getting stuck you can take a break to avoid your problems. Or you could actually fix your problems. That’s my advice as a musician who knows 2 chords.

    Either I'm not hearing your guitar or your tone and playing are just SPOT ON. Like wow. Stellar job

      i recreate the tone and the eq really easy because i got the stems for the song, i didnt record the lead guitar except in the solo of the last chorus. Also i did left the original guitars like 6 or 8 db below mine to give an extra push and fidelity to the original tone. Thanks!

      @@agustindiano I LOVE Monuments as well, bought their Cardinal Red tabs about a week ago. Haven't had much time to practice it because of work but I will surely get around to do a cover someday. Doubt it will be as good as yours tho, it's incredible!

      @@agustindiano Also I'm glad you liked the Pantera cover, thanks! My youtube ones sound better because instagram does some weird compression and the sound quality is quite bad on reels especially. I've heard that high cutting or shelving above around 14khz helps because it greatly decreases the aliasing that instagram causes. I will try it in my next video (probably DT's "Dark Eternal Night" on my new Ormsby

      I would love to start a project but between studying engineering and audio production school I don't have any time, 😭. I mainly use my free time for covers and play guitar. Imagine that to record a cover I spent like a month and a half but learning and recording the song it takes me a week

    I had to give up on this one. I can’t do the picking at all. My left hand doesn’t have nearly enough strength as well. Anyone who plays this is out of their mind. It’s mentally and physically painful. Makes your brains hurt.

    • @agustindiano
      @agustindiano  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think anyone can do it. When I first tried to learn Master of Puppets, I didn't believe it was possible to downpick the entire thing. After months of practice, I started getting it. Four years later, I can't do it anymore, but if I start to practice the song again, I'm sure I will end up doing it again. So, if you keep trying with good technique, making sure not to get hurt, you will finally get it. I had to practice like 3 months to get right the second verse of this one.

      @@agustindiano It's not doable right now for me. I suck at the alternate picking thing and I don't have quite enough strength on my fretting hand. Blood eagle is the only easy song they have. I'm seeking out all the easy ones so I can eventually move up to this. But I just recently moved to guitar a couple months ago so I'd say I'm doing fine. I've found bass is easier on the brain and harder on the muscles but guitar takes all the coordination and less omph from your hands. I don't have much coordination or strength so I'm surprised I could even start this song. I'm gonna give myself a pat on the back for that.

      @@13_cmiIf you have been playing the guitar for only a couple of months and you are already playing djent, you are on a good path in the guitar world, man. One thing that I can tell you is that if you want to improve, sooner or later you will have to play difficult songs that are out of your league and start challenging yourself. Steve Vai himself says that it's okay to play things at a speed and technicality that you are comfortable with, but you will not get better if you don't push your limits. Keep practicing and pushing yourself, and you'll continue to progress as a guitarist.

      A good way to learn such complex songs is to work on fretting and picking hand independently. In this way you can focus more on the things you lack in. For example when I was learning this song the issue at first was alternate picking so I just played the pattern just with my picking hand with muted strings and gradually increased the speed.

      @@agustindianoI’ve played bass years before. Never did the crazy guitarist mumbo jumbo so I’m still getting used to string spacing. I thought these big stretches would be a little easier because of the crazy size of bass guitars but unfortunately my baby hands can’t do it yet. I’m making good progress though. But I’m ready to give my self a year or two until I can do this song. I’ll give myself plenty of time.
