The tendency of most Christians is to put someone in high esteem. That's a great temptation which causes us to drift into a mentality that certain individuals like Dr. John MacArthur or J. Vernon McGee... are always right in their doctrines and teachings and opinions... Then we unknowingly accidentally make someone an idol. A person might spiritually drift and become a follower of Luther or Wesley or Calvin... and not really a follower of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter... and that can be dangerous!

the bible says "perfect love cast out fear" it's telling us to focus on God's unconditional love for us, and fear will flee. also here is a great verse to meditate on. (2Ti 2:13 TPT) But even if we are faithless, he will still be full of faith, for he never wavers in his faithfulness to us!

You really shouldn’t use the TPT, it is extremely corrupt and even perverts salvation in places like Matthew 7:14 and 1 Corinthians 1:18.
