From time to time I get gifts sent to me often with out any warning
My TH-cam contract says that they could be deemed as payed promotions
Due to the nature of me doing vids daily mostly in a hurry
I feel it’s best so not to fall foul of contract so I will now just add the hash tag #paidpromotion to all my vids This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated for
What a great idea refusing sewage treatment work sludge let’s hope everyone takes it on board
I fear it will lead to ‘scab’ situation like the coal miners it’s only a matter of time until they offer a farmer a price they can’t refuse to take the sludge
@@navaraboy3000 I think you’re probably right, but hopefully they can see the long-term future rather than the short gain they might have.
Another great video Olly. You definitely should be the spokesperson for the Farmers against the Government.
olly your are the voice for the farmers
🤣🤣🤣
olly you are brill we can take labour down easy if everone take all they money out of the banks run by the grov you wib
n
Paint the trim along the top of the new office the same colour as the window frames/doors and it look even better.
Love the Sewage 5H1T idea, hopefully all the farmers do it.
Hi Olly , I use to work for a company who transported bio mass from the sewage works to farms, It won’t take long to back up a cause a headache for the government. Genius idea may I say. To all farmers you definitely have my support, take care all. 👍👍
I’m not a farmer , chef for 36 years .
I see on a daily basis. Where our food comes from . Supporting British farming is so important.
We as a nation, need to eat more seasonal foods & stop buying cheap out of season produce , from abroad.
The Tax change is crazy & I totally agree with you Olly !
Keep up the hard work & keep your chin up .
We will prevail 💪
It's the ties that goes round the pipes, as it vibration, don't know how to stop it but good luck
well done to all the farmers all sticking together for once please keep it that way and peaceful protests nlike when the french go out
The new office building looks fantastic with the windows in!
Perhaps if you do have to give any land to the chancellor you should at least give her those really wet ones. She’d soon bring back the river board! Thanks for the video 👌
The shed is looking good Olly. Best place for the Sludge is Downing Street.
you need Fowler ploughing traction engines where one engine is each end of the field and tows the implement between them.
Another cracking one Olly and team that includes James. Top-team
A 4m power harrow combi with discs & a front press you would be flying on.
Love how people think let's buy a big drill it will be brilliant 😂😂😂😂😂
Rubber hydraulic pipes expand under pressure and contract when the pressure is released. All you need is a clamp or two to stop it moving. The water companies are going to be in the sh-t within days. That’s a great move to start with. You’re right about keeping things peaceful.
Great idea about the sewage sludge can always substitute it with poultry manure or other manure, there is an abundance of it in places
Good idea .
Dont take sludge 👍👍👍
You got the wet land this year we had it last year i feel your pain !
Yes pipe is pulsing, Ive had the same on a CO4. Need a couple of tight clamps fitting.
I thought the tracks needed pumping up a bit, the spud fields certainly holding water with the compaction, good video
Olly, if you crowd funded new tracks for the Quadtrack your viewers would buy into the experiment. Not all viewers are farmers. You have a whole nation of peeps behind you.
Crowd fund 😳😳. He us a business not a charity, come on
@@johnwarwick4105 You're right. I got a little carried away. Thanks for the reality check.
@@johnwarwick4105farmers love nothing more than a handout
He could do what another TH-cam did .... the famous whistling diesel he set his ferrari on fire by driving through a corn field and he then set up a system where he broke the ferrari down into bits and bobs the he sold them off in little boxes for the people who watch his channel .... maybe chop the old tracks up and then sell them off as merch for his viewers ... it creates content for him and the viewers can help buy better tracks 😂 just a random idea plus he could do a video like " chopping up 5 grand tractor tracks for subscribers or even better 10,000 dollars" because dollars always sounds more 😅 who know he might even get the money for new tracks just from thw TH-cam viewers 😂😂 he just needs to think outside of the box for extra income and maybe take a few lessons from bigger channels who are able to grab bigger audiences which then creates more views and money from ads or sponsors or even merch sales.
Speak for yourself.
Our 2 slurry tanks does the same with the pipe. The slurry macerator spinning does it. It makes the pipe plush and moves the pipe
Great idea to stop sewage sludge going to land. I think digestate from food waste plants should also be on the list.
Keep up the good work
Great video Olly you should tell them to take it to Rachael she owns 20% of where it needs to go 👍👍
Brilliant plan re. The sewage soilids ❤
Absolutely brilliant about the sh1t. Let them keep it. As you say Ollie if everyone sticks together we are a force to be reckoned with. 👍👍
105% but not out today.
Weather grey but warm again.
Did have a thought for you, although it may take some research; premium potato crisps.
No more sewage sludge / cake brilliant move
Great video Olly, brilliant idea regarding the sludge / cake. I wonder how many cubic metres would fit in Westminster given it's half full of Sh1t already? Knowing the Government they will probably just give the Water companies cart blanche to dump it in the rivers further increasing the silting problem. 🤔.
Slug pressure would be a concern on those cover crops
new build gets my vote ..proper job
If you speak to MP’s shortly make three points and three points only. Why? Very few people can carry away more than three points in an argument. Decide your points and then make them. Let others make their own three points. Sometimes they will overlap. These are the rules for instruction in the Services and they have trained people to remember things for hundreds of years. Three things three times. Tell what you are going to tell them. Tell them. Tell them what you told them.
Very sound words.
Er, the Services principle book for "teaching computing" is the "Ladybird Book of Computers".
@glynn luff, your statement is nothing but your opinion/wish.
If that proposal in principle was viable it would have been acted upon and had been implemented long before you were even born.
I advise you to search for the definition of “political theatre”.
@ It was acted on before I was born and has thus been handed down by generations! Few people can remember a large list and in the fifties when I was growing up lists were a party game. Three things, three times. That is the usual maximum. We were also taught that if you attend a course, no matter how well you pass you will forget nearly three quarters of it in the period of a year. However, you will remember how to research the detail. Today with computers recovery is relatively easy but when I grew up recourse had to be made to libraries. So then memory was more important than it is now.
As for political theatre that is the object of studying history so that by comparing conditions of past and present you can arrive at a conclusion. Politics is the preservation of power by those in charge. You have to suborn then with the potential limitation of power to gain your point.
As for opinion and point of view we still live in a State where that is endurable- just, some might say! The farming community have a point of view I support. However, making debating points is not easy on you feet and it is easy to become confused and lose the attention of your listening subject. These points were taught to many of us to make cogent and memorable arguments.
I have nothing but respect for your input to this discussion.
@ Oh I think that is unkind to some very fine REME instructors. Arte et Marte!
Will agree 100% Olly, if everyone stick together then that is one way of getting back at the government. 75% Today.
We have an nc dump trailer and the main tipping pipe does the same as what your getting with your drill there is nothing for it to catch on and we have put extra cable ties on but somehow it still goes tight at the front and bends up at the back have no idea how
Shed is coming along nicely at last :)
Olly in the wet field why don’t you use a mole or flatlift to help get rid of water first?
16:00 That’s a brilliant idea 💙💯 share share share 👍🏻
Great video Olly
Shed looking great, is Ian getting excited about moving in yet ? lol.
Hi Olly Nice one
That’s a great idea Olly refusing to take there Sewage will seriously make them think it’s dog eat dog unless you stand up to them nothing will happen or they could dump it at No 10:The new shed looks ace I just hope the new Government sees sence and. Revert back to how it was a system That’s worked for years Feeling 84% today and. Olly another brilliant video
17:08 great content again
Olly, that’s a great idea on refusing the sewage sludge. Why don’t farmers also refuse the distillery and fish farms waste too? I’m sure the likes of Diageo will soon have a voice when they have to shut production down until sorted…
You’re pipe on drill that keeps going back there is too much flow when you drop so it pulsates pipe
Fair play to ye that starmer has to go great video
I like the sludge idea but they'll probably just dump it all in the sea along with the x amount of hours that already goes on the sea.
What does x hours mean when they don't tell you how many gallons an hour in the first place? Another way of covering up. Like the excess deaths.
Keep British Farmers Farming. 🇬🇧🚜👍
That flexible hydraulic nose creep is caused by the extra length flexing forward with pressure pushing the loose pipe forward. Plastic close fitting pipe clamps should cure it if fitted at regular intervals.
Well I had a couple of days where I could watch you video again on my tv but now they are back to being dubbed on a differant language, well it’s lots of languages because it’s back to cycling through them again,
The potatoes are hard on the ground Ollie, at least I think twas potatoes that was on that ground
Great looking office space, out of interest on average how much would that have cost? In need of a few buildings at the farm I'm at (workshop / office space) so would be great if you could give us an idea. I'm thinking 25k or so? Keep up the good works
Olly, have you considered one or two zip ties around just the pipe that moves back. Put them just before a pipe clip to stop it passing back through.
The only thing when wet plough and combi
New windows open in? 🤔
Well said, the Government are the people in the wrong & let's keep it that way. With out giving our self's a bad name.
You could do with a slurry tanker and suck some water off the tatie field.
I have those twist and tilt windows in my house!
Keep stopping assisting anything, no snow removal, no help with floods, lock down your land
The wife and I watch every episode but we're not farmers, we would have loved to work the land but after the budget I don't think we'll be able to
You have our full support in dealing with the political mess . They have either no understanding or a more sinister plan for our countryside . Most of them think wellies are to drink champagne from .
Why not try those guys who blast air into ground ( as featured on Clarkson farm ) for drainage
Hydraulic pipe?, flow is to great or to low maybe. I've seen it happen in hose pipes.
looks like you need a ginger warrior!!!
Evening olly, this is a brilliant idea of not spreading spreading sluge, that going to be a brilliant start to make the government reverse there inheritance tax.
If the truck driver help out as well, lots could be done🤔
I’m with you all the way about not causing trouble but the government have to see how angry farmer are. Refusing sewage is a great idea but willl the public know? Blockading the supermarket distribution centres - in and out - would affect everywhere very quickly and it would steer the public back to the high street.
Good video 👍 80% .
Hi Olly, please can I add my sons name to the birthday bumper for tomorrow the 6th of November.
His name is James Tremain and will be 13 years old.
We are farmers as well and worried about the current situation, I will be attending the NFU march in London on the 19th.
Let’s hope that they will listen and at least adjust the thresholds to take more families out of this unfair tax. As you and most of us are, we only carry on for our children to benefit.
Fingers crossed and keep up your influence as I’m sure you will.
Kind regards Russell.

👀🙄🐾👍
Brilliant idea on the sewage sludge for far too long farmers have been unappreciated for solving what to do with council problems Tell them to keep it til this stupid tax is done away with for good see how long they can store it
70% today trailer tyre had a blowout 😂
Hopefully all farms will refuse the sludge. 80 % to day.
Hello Olly, why is the audio track messed up?
All of my other videos are in English but yours are in Portuguese for some reason.
I live in an English speaking country and my accounts country is English but your videos are all screwed up and I'm locked out of the English versions
I don’t know 😮
@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer Yh must be a problem with TH-cam itself
That's a great idea about SH1T
regarding the new IHT.........if your in partnership with other family members how does it work ???. my query is .......supposing your farm is worth £3 million and the farmer his wife and 1 son are all equal partners in the farm business and supposing 1 of the parents dies .........would the family have to pay IHT..........cos if there's 3 equal partners surely each partner owns £1 million each, therefore they would avoid IHT.............or have i got that wrong
I think that is the case each partner has an allowance of £1m plus personal allowance (plus extra for a house) husband and wife with house and farming assets have £3m total maximum allowance. So presumably more partners will increase that. Won’t help the single farmer though
@@johnwarwick4105 sounds to me like it's not as bad as some people make out then ..........my father use to own our family farm but he passed away in 2005 then me and my mother wanted to carry on the family farm and our solicitor and accountants advised me and my mother to go into equal partnership with the farm to avoid any potential IHT on the farmhouse and 2 stone barns that potentialy could have been converted to holiday lets etc if we wanted(subject to planning regs of course) when mother died in 2016, there was no IHT to pay. sounds to me that it's all about planning........get advice from solicitors /accountants and probably most of the tax can be avoided........the only problem i see is when people die young say in there 30's/40's and they haven't planned cos you don't expect to die at that young age
Why do you rent out ground for potatoes?
Make a mess most years .
Leave it till spring.
Got that pipe problem on a joker doing exactly the same.
As a non farmer, is it worth me going to London on the 19th on November ?
Brilliant idea with the sh1t 😉💪
Great Idea, let them keep the shit with the rest of the crap they are coming out with, keep up the great work Olly
What a mess the country is going to get in. Hopefully food will become an issue and they will wake up and realise maybe too late.
I believe all the subsidy I have had over the years to expand my farm and to keep food cheap
Is now on my death going to be repaid plus a bit more. We must stick together through these tricky times.
The french would have covered Westminster in slurry by now. Be more like the french-refused to be ruled 😊
Clamp the hydraulic pipes and or change out the one that moves for a solid one. Should sort out that issue. Peaceful protest, do you best to keep the general population (public) on side. Just remember what the post office workers went through get justice and have government listen. This is a long and difficult road.
The sewage sludge will just get dumped in the sea if nobody's having its
Bio gas waste as well
Pity you can't clear seal that block work on new office, think it looks mint just like that, industrial style. Keep up the great work.
Am I right in thinking this Government has also now added an additional tax to nitrogen fertiliser to help attain their environmental goals?
See those work well down
Here travel across wet
Patches come up warm
Spell case being foolish
Olly walk away just saying
One to sow one to grow
One for crow one two rot
Sticky boots go away
Go center park play😂
Great idea with the sh1t👌😆
I'm interested to know which farmer the liebour MP spoke to who agreed with what Labour are doing 🤔🤔
i think got to be a 12 to 14 year old that plays farm sim
Probably was once a labour mp and earned millions to buy a farm !
Olly. Are you not doing even more long term damage to your soil working in those conditions ?🤔
Maybe grow rice on that boggy field 😜
Grow willow?
@ Yeah that would be great 👍🏻
Olly, I don’t think stopping the use of sewage sludge on agricultural land would solve any problems. Most sewerage companies are privately owned and therefore the problem of disposal would only impact the sewerage company and have little to no impact on government, secondly you would also be taking away a valuable fertiliser and soil conditioner that the farmers get free of charge in order to help them grow crops, taking it away will just increase costs and decrease productivity.
Why don’t we stop supplying the supermarkets with home grown produce instead, milk / cereals / vegetables etc. This would hit their massive profits, reduce shelf stock levels, thus creating some public hysteria, then you will have the power of the people who realise that our food security is critical and a much greater impact on government due to food shortages.
That’s also to happen but what else would they do with the sh 1 t
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer Landfill / land reclamation? I just don’t see it as a problem for government & therefore little to no impact in the short term. Maybe long term of not taking it. But ultimately you will be relying on water companies to lobby for changes in government for you.
Because you need the views.
Refusing SH1T for 5 months might make the government realise how hard it is to be a live stock farmer these days!
Will the government just send the sewerage sludge to landfill at taxpayers cost if farms refuse to take it?
Olly, I like your idea of drilling a cash crop into the Sfi crop. I can see how you could take out the remnants of the bird mix but how do you plan to tackle the remaining grass weeds?
What is that anyway ahl2 ? Pushing the boundaries flattening it like that if so
Hopefully there won’t be much of them
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer Thanks, please keep us updated in the Spring
The government seem to have confused farmers and large landowners. They are so jealous of wealthy landowners avoiding inheritance tax, getting CGT roller relief, and free subsides they are willing to sacrifice the small farms as collateral damage. Same with heating allowance, they wanted to stop wealthy pensioners getting it and the fact it would effect poor pensioners didn’t enter their calculations. This is all socialism 101, keep everyone miserable and you control them, at the end of the day they were voted in, people who voted Lib Dem, etc know the risks, everyone has to live with it now, not convinced the tories would reverse the APR if it raises any money but reform uk probably would, chances of a reform uk government in 2029, slim i’m afraid.
Four meals away from anarchy - we'll soon see - I think the plan to constipate the country is genius
Come back to comment after The following video on TH-cam was "Talk TV" It will cause chaos, farmers threaten to stop use of sewage sludge. Presenter talking with Alex Black Head of News and Business for the Farmers Guardian. The very young Alex (she/ her) did not have a clue. Does the Farmers Guardian actually represent farmers? If they do they need to get a new Head that knows what farmers do.
No wonder people think farmers are loaded with videos like these
I wonder if.water companies pay as much tax and you're getting rid.of the SH1T for them.
This is the third day in a week that I have no English Audio Track....8 options and English is not one of them...
But I spk English
