When I freeze mushrooms I lay them flat on a cookie sheet pan and put in the freezer for about 3 hours. Then I put them in a bag. Freezing them loose first allows you to take out what you need without them freezing in a clump.
Everything looks so delicious! I want to come over for dinner every time.
It's so funny to me that the sizes of your Costco items are the size of our normal grocery store items in the US! I love seeing how people in other places live and work and eat. One thing that is always the same is that we all love our families and try hard to make a good and loving home. Thank-you for sharing your home with me. God Bless 🥰

Maple walnut cream cheese! My favourite flavour of ice cream is maple walnut, so I will have to try your recipe for cream cheese!
All your dinners looked so good. Something I do is to saute the brussels sprouts in the pan with the cut side down. It puts more colour on them, and they get a really good nutty flavour. I use a strip of bacon, cut small, in the pan, so the grease is there for the sprouts, and also bacon mixed in, on the plate.

When you handle your bread with your hands it begins to mold very rapidly. If you freeze it immediately then take out only what your are needing for one meal it will be ok.
I enjoyed watching what you made with the food you bought. One of our favorite ways to eat Brussels sprouts is to cut them in half and then half again and then fry them with bacon and season with salt and pepper. Another way is to cut them in half, rub them with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and then roast them in the oven. These are very simple ways to cook Brussels sprouts but very tasty.

Usako, try mixing cinnamon powder with sugar and dipping the sliced bagels in it and then bake or broil it. You can also do this with bread. It is delicious. It's called cinnamon toast. It's very good with a cup of tea for breakfast or dessert.

So yummy! We like to roast the vegetables, especially during the winter. Cut the potato and brussel sprouts like you do, then toss with oil salt and pepper, then bake in the oven. Delicious with a hearty meat 😋

I do that with my meat before I freeze it but use a vacuum sealer. If you get the right bags you can sous vide the meat in the bag that you froze it in 😊

It is indeed very wonderful and I love it! But it is relatively expensive, and for single-use only (I have tried and tried to use it a couple of times, to no avail; I do reuse plastic wrap, tho). So, I avoid it now. Darn!

You can put the end of the romaine lettuce in water and it will grow new leaves. Not as big but still edible.
