Actually the dominar and most of the bikes uses VR(Variable Reluctance) sensor instead of a Hall Effect sensor, Hall Effect sensor are mostly used in transmission speed sensor in cars and as crank position sesnors in premium bikes and cars

Brother, Front sensor cost 1100-1200, I had to change due to fall where the wire experienced a rupture as an effect of the fall. So I made sure it's dangle loss as it was the case in past inspite of the tags. I installed additional tags with the break line. All works like charm now!! Sat home and stay safe!!

Hi.. I own a NS 200 ABS. I got an issue with this particular unit mentioned here. The front wheel speed sensor got damaged due to breaking of its cable.. Where can I find a spare? Does the sensor come along with the cable attached to it? I went through the 99rpm.com but I am not sure whether it is the same thing.
I am getting a P0500 error ( speedo sensor malfunction ) multiple times. Even I reproduced the error in the main stand when the rear wheel is spinning and the front wheel keeps still. Not sure what the issue is.
I have two sensors on my Gixxer ABS. One at the front wheel like the dominar as shown in the video and one behind front sprocket cover. If speed can be detected with one why there's two? Is it because of ABS?

I too had the problem with speed sensor of my aprilia sr150....the service center could not replace it....and also the sensor was expensive.......so i replaced it with that of apache rtr sensor.....and its working fine....
Hi, your videos has helped me alot, thank you very much. I am riding Fzs 15 and from you have learnt many things for my bike maintenance. Its been a year I have purchased and done almost 18k kms. As I cover around 70-80 kms per day, I always keep my serviced. My query lies in the rear nissin brakes where I have replaced 3 times. I avoid harsh acceleration and try to maintain around 40-50 kmph, as Kolkata roads does not permit beyond that. One of my colleague using Gixxer suggested to replace the rear brake set to brembo. So is it advisable to go for that, before asking the authorised service station I felt asking you.

As we all know that to get the RPM readings, crankshaft position sensor is necessary.. however, in apache RTR 180, the older generation didn't have any such sensors.. it was solely relying on the current flowing through alternator... even though it had audacity to show the RPM accurately... So, is it possible to have one such aftermarket fitment on the non-tachometer motorcycles, such splendor... If possible, then is it even reliable ? Thanks

i have problem while riding to work a small cloth stuck between sensor and disc in mansoon . and after ride i noticed it and remove it. after that my rear abs sensor is not working ...it works fine for first 5 min of ride and after abs indicator turns on continues.

Hi Mohsin, Unfortunately the sensor is a sealed non (re) programmable unit with a fixed threshold. Things can be altered at the ECU end (again a difficult job) but not at the active sensor.

Hi..... I am regular viewer of your channel and have learnt a lot from your videos about my apache 200..... However recently i am having a problem with my speed sensor which does not work when the engine is cold, but starts working after driving for about 3 to 4 km. The service centre suggested me to replace my speed sensor which would cost about Rs 600. However i dont think its a sensor issue as i get coerrect reading once the sensor starts working. Also my battery is stock almost 3 years old could that be an issue. Please help.
Hi Vivek, I remember getting similar message from a RTR 200 rider. Very little can be done in such situations apart from checking basic connections and inspecting the sensor for any kind of deposits/obstructions. These electronic parts can show sporadic errors which need replacement as the scope of repair is thin with sealed sensors like this. Happy to know that the channel has got interest and support from riders like you 😊

can you make something related to KTM 200 or sumthing like how to remap ur ecu at home or where can i reamap my ECU or something like why ECU remapping so costly 🤔
You will need OBD II to Bajaj specific adapter which is not available widely, special OBD to serial or USB adapter, the software that is proprietary to KTM's, maybe other tuning software will work, but I've heard many Duke 390's ECU getting bricked coz of fiddling with it, overall this setup will cost much more than piggyback ECU'S and each and every bike is little different and we cannot tune the bike as good as someone who does it professionally, overall a piggy back ECU is worth it, you get self learning algorithms which will automatically adjust your fuel and timings, you can also download maps from internet for performance, economy, top end, exhaust,etc. You can get Powertronic without Quickshifter which is totally worth it, you can also try BoosterPlug or Coober ECU.
My gixxer 155 s speed is not showing sometimes , do I need to check the fuse.its a non abs model but it stills has an electronic sensor at the front sprocket.

Once a guy retrofitted entire ABS system of RTR 180 on RTR 200. Though the cost wasn't revealed by the guy but evaluating price of components used in the process, it was around 38,000 and guy did that by himself, so he probably saved about 3-4 thousands on labor charge. So the modification is likely to be possible now its up to you whether you consider the amount of money and time spent on modification worth it or not. The Sportztourer display is not working now, earlier it get shut by turning the handle right and again starts by making the handle bar straight now it is completely stopped working but I can ride my bike now also

Hi good to see u, can u help me which oil should I use in FZ25 liquimoly or motul?
Use motul 7100 if bike has covered more than 4000km, liqui has a tendency to fade in effect after a 1000 kms.
Ha motul gives good performance upto 3000km can be used till 4000km

But whn i use motul 7100 in my rtr 200 its turn fully black in 500km
Both are use 10w40(Motul 5100 or 7100).

The reason that everyone can't remap ecu is why its so costly. Instead of remapping buy a powertronic racing cdi

Have you check the gear lever position? Adjusting it helps in such situations (also include clutch adjustment in this).
