Grand Canyon Maverick Helicopter Tour

Take a helicopter tour over The Grand Canyon, a natural formation distinguished by layered bands of red rock, revealing millions of years of geological history in cross-section. Vast in scale, the canyon averages 10 miles across and a mile deep along its 277-mile length. Much of the area is a national park, with Colorado River white-water rapids and sweeping vistas. In this video we travel with Maverick on one of the tours they operate from Las Vegas.

I went to the Grand Canyon in February. It was so beautiful with all the snow everywhere. Its almost like God himself took his paint brushes and went wild with imagination. Literally looks like staring at a huge painting from the observation decks. When you're driving up there all the way to the visitors center, you can't see it till suddenly......BAM!! there it is. I'm glad it took you by the North Rim. We could see it from the south but the North Rim was closed though. Its higher in elevation and sees more precip so too much ice and snow I guess. I recommend to anyone if they can manage on their trip, to go by way of Phoenix to Flagstaff to the Canyon. Such beautiful scenery and interesting geography. You'll drive by the San Francisco Peaks volcanic field, an extinct stratovolcano that is now a winter ski resort.
