I was on the Magic Dec 2021 (first cruise since they restarted) and I won’t lie, sailing with a low capacity was awesome. Pool side lounge chairs, no crowds, best views…I was grateful actually.

This episode brings back all the emotions. We sailed on the Fantasy in February 2022 when testing was still required before sailing and I literally cried when we got our “all clear” because that anticipation was so stressful. Looking back I can definitely say it was all worth it though because experiencing the ship at such low capacity was amazing and we’ll never get to experience that again.

Yay! That is so exciting!! They have an open house on the first day. (and sometimes they have it on other days as well) The open house is when parents can go in with their kids to check it all out!
Which port did you sail out of on this trip? We are sailing out of Galveston in January and are wondering if it is a good port and if they have a Covid testing place on site. Thanks and we are glad we found your channel.

Great video guys!! I'm excited to watch the whole series. We were wondering about the navigator App since we've never been on a Disney cruise. When you download the APP do both you and Lacy log in with the same password? How does that work if you both want to text each other on the ship.
Awww, thank you! ❤️❤️❤️ So when you book a Disney Cruise, you list your whole party. So when you log in with your reservation number on the navigator app, it records your names. You then add your name and make a custom PIN, and you each have your individual chats.
It feels so strange and cool to watch this through your perspective. YAY!!! How exciting!!! We stayed at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside hotel! The hotel was a little older, but it didn't bother us because of the location and view! Have the best time!

Trying to figure out best time to book our kids in the club and no clue. We used to look at when the characters would be there and drop off then but now with picking a time slot ahead of time I just have no clue what to go for. Would love your thoughts!
Hey there! So the good news is it's the same program for each reservation. So even if you book two reservations on the same day, it's the same routine. So that being said, the characters come to each reservation! I hope that makes sense. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Would love your thoughts on second dining with the kiddos. My daughter is the same age as Landen. We’re on the Wonder next summer for 7 nights. Currently have late dining AND time change from east coast to Alaska. Waitlisted for main dining time, but I’m nervous she’ll be a miserable mess if we stay in the second seating.
Yes, we will discuss that more on a video, but it was definitely on the line. We liked late dining more than main. However, I would say towards the end of dinner each night. They were done. However, it seemed like at the end of the cruise, they were getting used to it. So maybe a week before you leave, match up the dinner schedule with the time zones.
Yes, they did! Disney will provide lanyards after your second cruise and beyond. After sailing your first cruise you will be automatically enrolled into the Castaway Key Club and depending on how many cruises you go on after that your lanyard color changes. If this is your first cruise Disney will NOT provide a lanyard. You can purchase some at the gift shop on board or Amazon has a great selection.

I'm curious about the reservations for the kids club. My kid loves the oceaneers club and lab so I am worried about the time limits with the new reservation system. Did it feel like kids club time was rationed or could you make reservations at will? We have a cruise booked on the Wonder in April and I am very hesitant to make a final payment if his time in the clubs is going to be restricted.
We could make more reservations the day of; they had plenty! Nevertheless, we were pretty pleased with our experience! We hope that helps! Let us know if you have any more questions! We will have a tips and tricks with kids video coming out in January.
Why does no one talk about or suggest taking empty travel toiletry sets and filling the little bottles with the H20 products to take home? It would be the same or similar amount to the take-home ones that Disney used to have.

Seeing your family reminds me of all the Disney cruises we’ve been on. My daughter is 23 now and she’s been in all the kids clubs except the nursery. We still haven’t gotten Disney out of our system and are booked on two Disney cruises next year. Hopefully, one of the cruises will be the viewer cruise. It looks like so much fun! BTW, I would have picked the sea bass over the prime rib as well. I love eating the seafood on Disney cruises.
Great question! Not really, but you find out pretty fast because you hear people talking, LOL! We usually go get lunch, explore the ship for a bit, and then go check to see if the room is ready, and it usually is!
What a fun video and watching new adventures through the eyes of children is amazing! I would have been so nervous about not getting the clear after 45 minutes but I'm glad it worked out in the end!! Watching Tucker eating ice cream reminded me of our first Disney cruise when my daughter was just 22 months old. We stood in a long line to get an ice cream cone and when they handed her the ice cream tears rolled down her little face. My babe didn’t like ice cream, but she loved munching on ice cream cones like cookies. The cast member handed my daughter three ice cream cones and told her to come to the front of the line whenever she wanted more “cookies.” Great memories!

I'm curious about the reservations for the kids club. My kid loves the oceaneers club and lab so I am worried about the time limits with the new reservation system. Did it feel like kids club time was rationed or could you make reservations at will? We have a cruise booked on the Wonder in April and I am very hesitant to make a final payment if his time in the clubs is going to be restricted.
We could make more reservations the day of; they had plenty! Nevertheless, we were pretty pleased with our experience! We hope that helps! Let us know if you have any more questions! We will have a tips and tricks with kids video coming out in January.

Why does no one talk about or suggest taking empty travel toiletry sets and filling the little bottles with the H20 products to take home? It would be the same or similar amount to the take-home ones that Disney used to have.

Seeing your family reminds me of all the Disney cruises we’ve been on. My daughter is 23 now and she’s been in all the kids clubs except the nursery. We still haven’t gotten Disney out of our system and are booked on two Disney cruises next year. Hopefully, one of the cruises will be the viewer cruise. It looks like so much fun! BTW, I would have picked the sea bass over the prime rib as well. I love eating the seafood on Disney cruises.

Great question! Not really, but you find out pretty fast because you hear people talking, LOL! We usually go get lunch, explore the ship for a bit, and then go check to see if the room is ready, and it usually is!

We actually have only been on the Fantasy and Wonder. From those two we like the Wonder the best.

Watching Tucker eating ice cream reminded me of our first Disney cruise when my daughter was just 22 months old. We stood in a long line to get an ice cream cone and when they handed her the ice cream tears rolled down her little face. My babe didn’t like ice cream, but she loved munching on ice cream cones like cookies. The cast member handed my daughter three ice cream cones and told her to come to the front of the line whenever she wanted more “cookies.” Great memories!
