      @No Dogma Mama the problem of the land is very complex. There are some people that have land of the size of a little city. while other little poor farmers work with little land and need the support of the state. But the government helps the great owners of land. and the paramilitar ilegal groups (alt+right) kill whoever that denounces this. and Have I already said the cocaine problem? well.

Also, journalists like this, do let them share their views, their cause, their situations. People would love to share opinions like this.

    You guys need to understand that Colombia's main issue is economic inequality, this has been going on since Colombia was an European colony. White colonists descendants hold all of the money and political power mostly and don't let go of it. It's really hard to move up the social ladder, it can take several generations for that to happen. Education is not widely available as well as basic resources and services. A lot of the native's land was taken away by the powerful and rich of the country. This of course led these communities to fight against the powerful and saw an opportunity to rise and protect their lands by arming themselves. This led to more oppression by the government and the resentment grew even stronger. Then drugs showed a way to earn some money and a decent living, things that were hardly provided by the government and that started to blow up. So until the government doesn't do anything about this social and economic inequality, things won't change, and that's whats really going on in Colombia!

    • @DroneStrike1776
      @DroneStrike1776 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure, blame it on the White people. It has nothing to do with a Marxist organization. With out those "White people", Colombia wouldn't have been modernize the way it is. @@justafan1794 But it is also the type of war: No tanks, no big ofensives, no warfleets bombarding the coast with 15inch shells... It's a slow, almost localized war. Patrols search for eachother, fighting errupts and they bot disengage. It's literally cat and mouse.
      I saw the same in Ukraine. A group of 18 men wants to take a village. But there is a house with a machinegun in it. So they can't just take it. So they have to order a gun. The group's "Husstler" will place phonecall after phonecall while the rest just waits and smokes. Absolutly nothing happens. Then, hours later one rusty soviet van with an equally rusty soviet howitzer shows up. The group is happy. Untill they discover the shells are in another van that hasn't arived yet. So the waiting game starts again. I swear, people always talk about weapon manufacturers getting rich of war but have you ever thought about big tabaco? Cig after cig... It's getting late. The van arrives. They are happy.
      Then a local shows up. He just walks up to them and tells the men have left the building.
      Warfare in Eastern Europe is amazing....

      I'm Afro Colombian. Black people in Colombia are predominantly found in the Pacific and Caribbean regions due to historical slave ports, the country is very segregated by race in some areas. We have the first free enslaved community in the entire American continent and the third largest black population in Latin America after Brazil and Haiti. The region of Choco is almost entirely black and there's major cities like Cartagena and Medellin with many black people and Afro influences. Colombians are very kind and hospitable people, so ignore the troll who clearly is not Colombian as they can't even write the name of the country right, and I hope you liked your stay in my country.

    In the Philippines we have New Peoples Army (NPA) an armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines and is founded in 1969 and they are still fighting against our government up to this time, but they lost the support from the masses when it cost too many lives and damage to the civilian properties. Now they operate in small and scattered group.
