Hi! I am from Spain and I collect Kelly dolls. I loved playing with them when I was a kid. They are really cute and their clothes are very well made. I miss them, I wish they still did them. I love your collection! Sorry for my bad english.
Thank you! My daughter enjoyed this. Your collection has given my daughter goals and now she's interested in lemon heads. Enjoyed! Kelly is adorable. I always felt like my sisters always got them. I only remember two Kelly friends that I had: Marisa (birthday party) and Jenny as the flower fairy from the Barbie and the nutcracker movie. That was really special to me because my mom bought her for me from toys r us. We never got toys from there.
Cool, I hope she finds a bunch, it's a nice small collection. Remember to get some doll stands as you buy. My little brother used to work at Toys R Us in the early 90's so my b-day gifts from him and my mom always came from there. And he was able to keep track when dolls were changed to clearance.
SOOO many, wow! I love looking at your dolls and you talking about them. Surprising what snipits of information you can pick up just watching. Take care x
Thanks for sharing your collection. Kelly dolls are super cute. They have some pretty elaborate playsets as well. I learned something new. I didn't know about lemonheads. Lol
Remember the Lemonheads have a little video too. I found a black and white copy on youtube. th-cam.com/video/CwHSV8tjDj4/w-d-xo.html I don't know why they couldn't put it on in color.
I'm pretty sure Tommy was the only Kelly club boy. Unless you look at the character sets and those I think still listed the character as Tommy as .... I don't think I have Ryan but I didn't have many from the Midge and Allan (Happy Family) sets. Oh wait, as I'm searching Happy Family, I see the little boy in the yellow ride on car is Ryan! So I do have one. Part of the neighborhood sets.
@@barbee0913 I have Amusement Park Ryan in my collection. The doll was released in 2000. The doll's box said "Kelly Club". I found photos of this doll on the Internet. www.pinterest.ru/pin/333547916144287015/
I'm turning 65 this week. Barbie and friends brought me so much joy as a child. In later years, I bought Kelly dolls. I have nothing close to your collection, but I have a few! My youngest granddaughter loves dolls. She is 4-1/2. I watch her playing with her dolls, and it makes me so happy. My daughter and oldest granddaughter didn't care for dolls. It was horses and stuffed animals. Nothing wrong with that, as children should be free to follow what they love. I have one picture of me playing with Barbie when I was nine. I can see the excitement on my face, and it brings back wonderful memories.
Happy Birthday!!! I always loved dolls, though when young I had a lot less, lol. My daughter loves dolls. I watched my nieces like them only a little, they wanted electronics instead Though I always thought that had to do with stores not having extra clothing to buy for a doll. I always thought that was the fun part, dressing, redressing, wigging, rewigging. I have marvelous memories of playing dolls with neighbor kids on our porches. The nice thing about Kelly's are their size, so pint size. You can put them anywhere.
I am not a big Kelly fan -- although I have two of the folding houses made for them, the playhouse and the castle. But I was at a dollshow in 2019 and one of the tables was *covered* with Kellys in these unique outfits that I think were made in Russia? And I had to have 2 of them!
There used to be a lot of people who would customize them a while back. There are some really cool ones. Every now and then I look up customized ones on ebay. There used to be a club too. I don't know if that still exists anymore.
Thanks for sharing your amazing collection of Kellys. I only have 1 Kelly and 1 Tommy but Iove them. They used to be my travel dolls . I don't have any of the new toddler babies in the Skipper Babysitting series but I think they share a body with old school Kelly/Shelly. I like the Chelsea dolls but I'm not a fan of the painted on tops. I wish they had more fashion paks for Chelsea and friends. Everyone has their own likes but I find those Lemon-heads frightening!
lol, you just have to think of the lemonheads as an entirely different doll, they'll grown on you. Fashion packs would be nice, especially if they put some time and effort into making them of some quality. Probably won't happen.
Thank you, taking them out of storage for a bit gave me a chance to replace hair bands and spruce them up a bit. One day they will get to be out on display again.
It seems to be working on my end. There are a lot of photos attached so maybe that is causing lag if you drag it ahead? I figured I'm having a good internet night, I was able to stream a free concert with out having any issues.
Oh, glad to see your collection. I loved Kelly as a kid! She was so small and cute. She filled that niche that the Heart Family babies used to. I kinda wish they hadn't upgraded her to the current Chelsea, who is also pretty cute mind you, so I'm glad they're reusing her body to make some other random toddlers for Skipper to babysit. It'd be pretty neat if we got another official version of Kelly too but well... Scooter never came back either and she/Stacy also got some permanent revisions. Not really surprised if they keep the family how it is now. (Also, I don't like the Lemonheads because I feel like they should've exaggerated her body some more to go along with the more cartoony head but that's just my opinion.)
@@barbee0913 Oh yes! Not all of them but a few! One is Skipper and a stroller toddler, which I bought a year or so ago. I think another was bathing a toddler? There are individual sets of a toddler with accessories (one has a girl with a sleepover bag and the other is a boy with a sandbox and/or a slide) and there are three or four toddlers with a baby sibling package. They've also brought her body back for certain Barbie Career sets, like a school teacher, dentist, tennis coach, pediatrician, and violin teacher... I think there are two different ballet teacher sets. Most if not all of them have molded hair which I actually like because it's simpler and neater for short hairstyles. (Though your video helped me remember how good they looked with long, brushable hair too.) None of them are Kelly, they're all meant to be generic kiddos but I'm okay with that. I'm just happy they're bringing her back in spirit at least! :)

Glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought some good memories to you.
Gorgeous collection! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, I need to get more stands.
I always thought Kelly was so adorable. My daughter had a Kelly baby doll when she was little.
There costuming was well done too.
WOW!! Amazing collection!!!🥰❤️🤗💓🤩
Thank you, I need to save up for the mini stands. I could have sworn I had stands for all of them.

Your Kellys and Tommys are so adorable!! I hate that Chelsea has painted on top most of the time these days
I guess it's cheaper to have a machine print a garment on a doll.
I hate the painted on clothing too! Very cheap!

Nice thing about them is they all fit in one small container for storage. Glad there is a snippet of info you can take from our stuff.

Great collection, an updated doll room tour would be great, to see all your new dolls, I hope you don't mind me suggesting it.
Right now my house is in flux. My husband is using my living room for his recovery. So it will be quite a while till I can get one out.
Thank you for the video! You have a wonderful collection! Tommy wasn't the only boy. There was also Ryan.
He was associated with the Happy family line, Im thinking. He sure could have crossed over

amazing, I want it all
I love kellys from the 90´s and 2000´s
They are my favorite, so sad when they changed them.
Gosh! You have tons of Tommy and Kelly.
They were an easy gift for family to buy me, so much variety. Plus my little brother worked at Toys R Us back in the day.

Great vid! I’m obsessed with Kelly! She was called Kelly in Australia too 🥰
Thanks so much for watching! I miss seeing those Kelly's on the shelves.
@@barbee0913 yes I have to say not the biggest fan of Chelsea
Amazing collection💕

Aw i totally want to do that with the Halloween set too!
Maybe some day when I have time, I'll make a diorama.
Maybe it's a problem on my end, but you are buffering. I love your collection!

I didn't know they were using her body for the Babysitting Skipper sets. I will have to look more closely.

They had a boy name Ryan in a Allen set
Yes, I just figured out I have one Ryan.
There was more boys than just Tommy, like Darrin,Johnny ,Ryan
I forgot to ask if you got anything from the online Kane county doll show?
Ahhh, that is mentioned in the Dolly finds for September 2020 video.
@@barbee0913 oh! I must have missed that. Thank you!
Where did you get the doll stands
Well, I used to have a doll shop to go to. Now I order online with Gigi's dolls and Sherry's teddy bear shop. You buy by the dozen.
Hiiiiiii
