Command and Conquer Generals Evolution is Generals remake mod which was built on Red Alert 3 game engine. This real time strategy game shows great performance, no FPS problems, no lag, new game maps, new units and structures. The game is based on General Zero hour, RTS game which continued the C&C game series.

Command & Conquer: Generals is a real-time strategy video game developed by EA Pacific and released in 2003. The game takes place in an entirely separate continuity that is completely unrelated to the Red Alert universe or the Tiberium universe. It is the first Command & Conquer RTS game to use 3D graphics in-game. Later that year, it was expanded with Zero Hour.
This game is actually a mod for Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, and so, in order to play it you need an original copy of Red Alert 3.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a 2008 real-time strategy game developed by Electronic Arts Los Angeles. It is the third major installment in the Red Alert series and features the original two factions, the Allies and the Soviet Union, joined by the newly introduced Empire of the Rising Sun, a high-tech fictionalized Japanese army. Although co-op campaigns were not new to Command & Conquer games, as special co-op missions existed in Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge, Red Alert 3 was the first (and currently only) Command & Conquer game to exclusively use co-op mechanics in the main singleplayer campaign.

We have a gold experience in this game when we were a child, so its not wasted. And yes, Im glad they made an enhance version of this on ra3 engine.

@@johndaleedisan Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 & 3, Generals, Tiberium Wars. All these games never died. You need to learn how to get multiplayer for these games, but the online community has always existed. You can hop online any time and find matches.
It really did deserve a second go, now the new generation can experience it.

@@lmcorr yeah I love the music. The game doesn't look bad too, would have to see how the campaign/multiplayer balancing is (I think RA3 was one of the franchise with the closest to perfect balance)
Seeing there's factions with very different motorized vehicles (some using trucks, and at some point there being litteral guardian tanks which is spooky) might be very unbalanced unfortunately
Can someone please give that guy some shoes already?
This confirms my belief that RA3 would have been much better if the unit/building designs didn't look like legos

I can't believe that I lived to see a day like this! That's the beauty of PC when the community is given the tools to make next-level mods and addons for a beloved game, it keeps it alive for a longer and longer time ahead!

They really need to add salvage for GLA. You cant just keep GLA the same without those because the whole faction was basically balanced around it. Scorpions, Quad cannons and especially Marauders become very dangerous with the salvage upgrades.
Agreed, but I guess they can balance it like the cash bounty general ability here which was passive in the original game I believe and always active once unlocked (which made it a must have for GLA players economy). Here it's a targeted global ability that only affects all targets within the radius. He got junk repair so maybe if they add back the salvage upgrades it can also be a targeted global ability? But with a slightly faster cooldown than other global general abilities to limit it's potential power but not its utility.
At 09:45 a quad truck gets the salvage upgrade gun when it ranks up. Maybe they made it so they auto upgrade on level up. Still the salvage was cool and is missed.
If you are looking for 3 4 tanks uprages you are not good general
Scrapped Marauders and Technicals were in fact dangerous. The other ones not really.
@@megac4Fully salvaged scud launchers + captured USA strategic center (search and destroy), if you ever get to it is OP! Beyond visual range attacks, you'll need camouflaged rebels or Jarmen Kel to spot targets for you, LOL! It's essentially a mobile scud storm x_x. Ofc, you need to protect it with marauders and quads. Let's not forget, the high explosive mode will also destroy airborne helicopters and jets!

I have played this Mod recently and fought against GLA in easy mode. When I finally assembled my attack force GLA have already spammed the entire map with defenses. Literally took me 3 hours to finish the game.

The best Command and conquer game ever. Generals, and zero hour. THX god this mod guy did this. Pls go on further. Don't stop, i would even pay for this, when this would be a stand alone. I hopefully wait for coop gameplay (pvp / pve and the campaigns were also mega cool)! Great

I doesn't have a chance to play this game since I bought it long ago. Only manage to play C&C Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath. Never knew this video brings back nostalgic memories.

The AI is insanely brutal, i love it!
This mod was amazing, the only problem i had with it was marauder tanks and the quad cannon dont seem to change when you pick up enemy parts.. not sure if anyone else had that problem
Hotkey for jumping to different parts of map would make it easier to move around quickly.
Ctrl 2 while your looking at a spot and its saved.
Starcraft 2 has that, makes defending easier.

This game reminds my childhood
good ol tourment island, played a quite a number of China flame tank rushes in multiplayer on that map, and vs AI I would play it cause its nice and lazy when the enemy is right outside your base.
God I miss playing this game.

its still the most iconic game where all GLA peasants are multi skilled super engineers, where all you need to make a self- powered SCUD Storm launch facility is one of those peasants.

Everything looks fantastic! Well except for the exploding scud missiles. Scud missile explosion looked more spectacular and more powerful in the original. The real life Scud-B have ~2000 lb warhead. The explosion should be a lot bigger with condensation cloud, a bit more like the carpet bombing but with resulting mushroom cloud.

Does this mod allow you to take other tech or buildings from the enemy? I enjoy taking tech ang creating enemy units against them. It's like having multiple factions in one game. That's how enjoyable the generals franchise was. I noticed that there are no special units like lotus, and colonel burton.
You create Engineers to steal enemy buildings.
