I remember back in the old days I used to watch this channel

The first one is an orange giant, that means that it once was a normal way smaller star and only now got to be a giant after its fuel ran out. These planets originally werent that hot but then the star expanded. Thus they are so close to the stars surface, but they still have long orbits and thus no tidal lock.
