Ok, this dude at 6:09 is over exaggerating. Yes, his leg gets bumped but did you see where he was before then? Behind that car, then zips right in front of it, and comes to a complete stop an inch in front of the car, while also seeing the car's blinker? I know drivers need to be careful but also put in some sense too, motor biker. Also he just HAS to talk to the woman while also putting a dent in her car. She should've called the cops. Even in the camera footage it wasn't that serious. Christ.

@@aaker256 What? No. No one is saying that. When the driver first saw the bike, it would have been going about 70 km/hr. The speed limit there would have been 50 km/hr. At one point the view of the bike is blocked by a car. The rider should have anticipated the potential pull out and adjusted his speed accordingly.
The reality is that there are a lot of unskillful drivers on the road. There are elderly people, new drivers, and so on. If you can't deal with that reality, then you shouldn't be riding.
Frankly I don't see the point of getting upset. It won't achieve anything. Give them a beep to let them know they've done something wrong.
4:40, WTF, this novice is literally driving dead center of two lanes, and the women who's just continuing in her trajectory, and her lane by right gets blamed for it? I'm a biker myself, but do yourself a favor, when you're stuck in this kind of traffic, do not try to squeeze in between two packed lanes, it might save you a few mins, but it might get you locked into tight spaces, and a driver that isn't checking their blind spots might run into your bike, or often run a mirror into you. That's your problem. Be aware of how much clearance you have in every direction. I feel sorry for the young lady, she must've felt so terrified and threatened. People like this make all bikers look like bad people.

To be fair, the yellow car (along with a few others) were in a right-turn-only lane, then tried to sneak into the congested lane going straight ahead. Where I come from, that's an illegal manoeuver. But you are right, the biker did cut off the driver deliberately, even though up to that point the driver in no way endangered the biker. Driver tried to jump the queue, rider wanted to play traffic cop and take matters into his own hand.

From what I've noticed, there were two lanes, the right one where the car was in, and the left one where our biker went. The left lane converged towards the right lane (where the right lane was going right, and not forward). So technically the biker was actually not cutting anyone, if the car would've respected the markings.

No one is arguing the legality of filtering, yet that’s all you’re harping on. If I’m not mistaken even you said in one of your replies that filtering is allowed when safe to do so....so why is it safe to pull up right next to a car and stop in an intersection when that car has clearly indicated that she wanted to move left. You say the filtering biker has the right of way only he was NOT FILTERING if he was IN THAT LANE!!! He chose to begin filtering by cutting off the car in front of him after he changed lanes multiple times...is that girl supposed to only be looking for the biker who was behind her then next to her then behind her again? Is she supposed to have her eyes on him the whole time? He’s in that lane. Traveling in that lane. He does not have the right of way if she was indicating that she needed to move left and he decides to filter knowing full well her intentions and since he was behind her and not beside her she had the right of way. Again if she is wrong for moving out of the right turn lane then SO IS THE BIKER.....why can you not grasp this? You cannot call occupying space in a lane as filtering. Ok so just looked up the filtering laws in UK. The maximum speed you can filter legally is 40mph (65 kmph). Additionally, you can only be going a maximum of 20 mph (32 kmph) faster than the traffic you are moving through. You legally have right of way when filtering.
These laws are terrible and will cause accidents. Almost no one in dead traffic will expect a motorbike to whiz past them everytime they try to change lanes. Driving school and experience do not prepare them for that. In addition, if you are in moving traffic, it is easy to cut off a tiny bike going 32kmph faster than you. And that 32 kmph difference will not give the bikers time to brake for lane changing motorists.
In australia the absolute maximum filtering speed is less than the speed DIFFERENCE allowed in UK filtering. The maximum Australian filtering speed is less than HALF the legal speed in uk. UK roads in the inner city are also often super narrow.
Being allowed to filter through traffic at 65 kmph seems absolutely bonkers to me and completely unsafe. Dont blame the bike guys and dont blame the regular motorists for these high speed filter accidents. Blame these shoddy limits. They are giving bikers a false sense of security on the road.
Bikers should not filter too often and too fast. It is dangerous, even if legal.
EDIT: Just looked again, those were only recommended speeds in the uk. You can filter as fast as you like, as long as it is 'safe'. What a joke. Filter at 110kmph if you wish, apparently the uk government only cares once the accident has already happened. Absolutely stupid policy.

@@marco_grt4460 Every day in morning traffic I see several such drivers who are "lost" so they can gain a few minutes and merge at the front of a long queue. Usually they are BMW or Audi drivers, but ladies in economy cars are certainly not exempt from this behaviour. With that said, this in no way excuses the idiotic behaviour of the biker.

Can somebody please explain to me why lanes don't mean anything in India? I can understand crazy cultural driving, but totally disregarding road markings seems ridiculous.
Coz people here dont even know there are rules for roads... most of them getting license by paying illegally... corruption everywhere, no proper roads, no proper signals, no proper riders... most of them dnt knw the difference and awareness of white, yellow, split lane... we bikers surviving in these roads everyday... 😭

Nothing biker related. He just spat out paan. Common in some states in India for people to chew paan. It's bad for health, like smoking but it's made disgusting where users keep having to spit out. And they will do is ANYWHERE!
