    In the last couple months, tons of folks have been asking for something to help with all the anxiety they're feeling about their exams, so they can study more effectively and get a higher mark.
    So, I put my whole video queue on hold to bring you this!
    This body scan exercise is short and simple but highly-effective for helping your mind relax, getting oxygen deep into your body and dissolving those anxious feelings.
    It's directed towards studying, but can easily be applied to any situation you might be feeling anxious about -- job interview, first date, tight deadlines, etc.
    It's totally not religious in any way -- it certainly won't violate the beliefs of any religion you might be practicing.
    After the exercise, head over to the 90-minute binaural beat track! • [v1] 90 Minutes of Foc...
    "Can I keep this on my phone?"

    I came here for completely unrelated (and irrelevant) reasons to what you might expect.
    I've never felt so relaxed before, and that's really saying something. I live life almost as though I have no problems and I'm always a very calm and relaxed person.
    Right at the end there where the "ding" sound gently but suddenly grabs your attention, I felt like I was about to float into the air for a sec, kinda crazy.
    Definitely going to try this more often.

      @taimoortariq8738 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If explained scientifically, it takes the focus from your brain that is focusing on tense thoughts and gives it something light to focus to. Its not placebo its helping calm you down. If you are not experiencing amazong results its because you already are calm. Try doing this after a stressful day and you will be like "Woah, that just made me ascend to the sky!" I tried this after my stressful study session and i persuaded my tutor to do this as well because he was super exhaysted after working for many many stressful hours. Instead of giving me 2 hours, he managed 3 hours and left only because it got too late. Im sick rn and have a headache so i tried this but it is not giving me super good results as my sickness numbs my thinking power making me already calm and collected. My headache is still there albeit a little decreased in impact. Just give it another go after some stress lol to regain calmness and continue working!

But i think the main goal of the video is to notice your own pains which you have been ignoring as well as make you aware of your own body.

    I have a quite specific question that I'm not sure you'll know the answer to seeing as I don't... I have ADHD and I take meds for it early in the morning that last til the late evening - is it best to do this when the meds are working or not? I'm thinking that doing this and timing it to end either as my meds kick in, or just before they peak 🤔. I might experiment to see what effect this has on medicated vs non-medicated me though!

    • @trongnghiao7995
      @trongnghiao7995 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      imo just before they kick in, since you cant locate when it peaks. goodluck!

    • @MultiSelmaselma

      Not sure if it helps but here is my experience:
      I have ADD and take dexamphetamine.
      It doesn't really matter to me when I take it vs when I do these type of exercises.
      For me it makes more sense to do them after taking the dose, because it is simply easier to get into focus-mode when your brain is on the medication you take for that specific purpose :)
      Therefor it gets your brain in study mode faster than when you do the exercise without the meds doing their work in calming your brain.
      I do like to do other exercises, such as meditation etc. on moments where I'm not influenced by the meds because it helps me relax my brain more before going to bed, or before taking time to relax.
      If I use my meds and try to relax I constantly want to keep on doing things and taking a short meditation break without a new dose makes a great transition between work-mode and relax-mode.
      I hope this helps and good luck!

    I noticed how restless my mind is. It was hard for me to keep my eyes closed and to sit for 15 minutes. I feel kind of sick, sore throat and drinking coffee. This can be the first step in a journey to bettering myself. Thank you kind sir.

      @@ironclad452 It's just all the pains and problems which you have ignored till now hitting you back. People tend to bury their emotional pain by distracting themselves(through means like alocohol, games, focusing on other tasks) but i think you should try facing them, no matter how hard you cry. Because after crying you will feel clearer and lighter than ever.
